It should be noted that this wonderful restaurant with great food, the best views, delicious drinks, and a friendly waitstaff is closed for the season. It will reopen towards the end of April. I expect the open days to remain Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday only. It does not take reservations but you can show up in person anytime after the 4:00 pm opening and put your name in for a table. Parties six and larger are given reservations.

Beautiful atmosphere. Loved the mixed drinks and entrees were delicious.Vegetarian options: Some salad options that are veggie friendly, but entrees were very meat heavy. There is a mushroom bucatini as an offering!

The view with the sunset, the food, service, ambiance all provide quite possibly the best dining experience in the northern door. Mike, Mary, Jamie and crew all provide a wonderful experience on the floor, and Matt is killing it in the kitchen to make this a must stop for anyone in Door County.

A must stop while in Door County - the whitefish is amazing - the cocktails outstanding - and the sunset views are wonderful. Worth the wait for a table. The salad and soup choices are good as well. Not your traditional supper club - unique options with an attentive hostess, bar and wait staff! And the romantic table for two is a delight!

Went to dinner with another couple. I had the pecan encrusted walleye. Every one else has the perch. Portions were large and the food was good, but the bill for a perch dinner and walleye dinner was $100-for basically a fish fry. The price did include two drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily wheelchair accessable.

A great little spot near the top of Door County. We were staying in Baileys Harbor and rode to Gills and points along the way enjoying the fall colors. We came along this restaurant and what a nice find. We had a small puppy with us so had to order drinks and an appetizer from the bar and enjoy outside. The service and drinks (margarita and vintage olf fashion) were great. We each had a bowl of smoked fish chowder. Very tasty. If you happen to be in the area highly recommend stopping for dinner.

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant in beautiful Door County. I love the ambience of the place, especially being able to watch the sun set as we ate dinner. I had the seafood pasta and my husband had the whitefish and both were amazing. The service was above and beyond. We were very happy to be able to spend our 10 year anniversary in the same place as we had our wedding dinner. Thank you for a marvelous experience!

Excellent helpful service. I have some mobility and hearing issues and I was not comfortable where we were originally seated but they quietly moved our party to a more comfortable table that was in a quieter section of the room. They even brought me a cushion to make me more comfortable. And the fish. Perfect. To make it better, the restaurant was only about 59 yards from the condo we had rented in Gills Rock.

The Shoreline was a 'go to' restaurant for our family for many years. Unfortunately the situation has changed. The restaurant is only open three nights per week now. The bar pours good drinks and the view is excellent. The service is good. Unfortunately the food quality has really declined - so much so that we will not return. $250 for four people.

My vegetables were burned and tasted that way. The panko whitefish was ok but nothing to write home about. I didn’t care for the fly that circled me regularly. The view…was that if a plain room with plain chairs and a strong desire for turnover.

I was unimpressed with the ribeye..very poor quality of meat. This is our 3rd time and the other two were impressive this year. Not so much .

Annual visit for the focused menu, great cocktails, good wine selection, and relaxed atmosphere. Bread was stale. Our usual choice of the smoked whitefish dip was disappointing this time around. It had a lot less smoked whitefish and was extremely peppery. Hard pass next time. They have a daily offering of seafood crudo at market price worth asking about. 3-4 interesting salad offerings I'd want to try.Entrées of the whitefish (we chose the panko crusted, lime cream sauce prep) and pecan crusted walleye were hits. The seasonal vegetable side was cooked perfectly.Friendly and prompt service. View of the bay, even if not seated at the windows. They seat Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, starting at 4 pm (2023 season). No reservations, so get there early or plan to wait at the bar or outside overlooking the bay.

Get there early so you get a table. Only open certain days. I will say that was the best chicken I have ever had. Totally worth it.
