This studio loves to cancel last minute only to offer you a rebook for 4+ weeks later with an attitude that it is your fault. We have been canceled on 3 times in a 4 month period.

dont go to kristen because if there’s a minor inconvenience with your appointment or you are in a wheelchair and need special accommodations she will embarrass you by talking crap online. i wanted to schedule an appointment with her but she never got back to me. but after seeing her very unprofessional rant online, being ableist and a mean girl, i’m glad she never responded.

From the start the receptionist was snippy and short with me when I was trying to check in. I waited for about 15 minutes after my appointment time to get called. I totally understand when people are behind but I was the first client of the day so I heads up would’ve been nice. Then when I was checking in I learned that the stylist I booked with is no longer with the salon so they paired me automatically with someone else. A little frustrating as I was going to this salon for a specific stylist and knew her rates and then was paired with someone I didn’t choose and wasn’t aware of their rates. I’ve had stylist leave salons before when I’ve been booked with them but the salon has always reached out to me to inform me and offer to reschedule with someone else or cancel. Additionally, if I would’ve canceled after learning I was paired with someone else, I would’ve been charged for a late cancellation. Just doesn’t feel right to me. My hair did turn out good for a trim with face framing however I feel like I was overcharged ($70) and will not be returning.

I’ve gone to Studio 890 twice now and had great experiences both times, first with Karissa who did a perm and cut and was gentle and explained clearly to while process. Second was with Debbie who nailed what I asked for! (Which the pictures are from) absolutely would recommend

Have gone to Marissa three times now and each time she has nailed it! Although she is still training she has more attention to detail than any other hair stylist I have had. She takes her time and makes sure you love your hair! Couldn’t recommend her more!!

I recently got an updo by Rachel and makeup by Melissa for a special event. They were sooo great...the end result was exactly what I wanted! They were so welcoming, yet professional! I can't say enough about this place!

My daughter and I have been going to studio 890 for a few years but my daughter's experience with a designer there for her last haircut was so disappointing. Claire didn't even communicate with my daughter well and ended up giving her a terrible haircut even after my daughter provided her detailed description of what she wanted. In addition, her haircut, wash and style was less than 40 minutes long. Really disappointed and have advised my daughter to never use this stylist again.

Just don't go to Kristin you should be all good..It's a awesome group until they cut 5 inches off.And messed up the color..Then acted like I was the horrible person.After going there 30 years ..

Heather K. always does a great job for my hair and my son's hair, and neither one of us have easy hair. My hair doesn't usually work with products as expected and my son has very tightly curled hair that needs extra attention. Heather is great with both of us and I'm always pleased with the results. Highly recommend her!

Carolyn has been doing my hair for most of this year, she is amazing! She is super friendly,
and always listens to my thoughts, love working with her! She has helped me navigate the ever-changing and often emotional journey through hair regrowth after chemo. I have never left the salon disappointed, thank you Carolyn!
