Been going to Sailers for my beef quarter and half hog for about 4 years. We have been very happy with the quality of the meat there. Had a couple minor mishaps on packaging but they always made it right. The size of animal obviously changes year to year but the quality is stellar. I've always been treated good, my calls always returned and the consistency is a value on its own. The girl complaining about masks must have been from the twin cities. Makes everyone, (including me) from the cities look unhinged. Picked up my half hog yesterday. Looking forward to our quarter cow in the fall.

I only stop in once in awhile and for good reason; It's a waste of my time. Absolutely nothing looks fresh cut. Everything seems to be mass produced and goes straight into a package and frozen. If you ask for something cut good luck getting the order filled. They look at you like you're asking for something foreign. The things I do end up getting are things I would expect from a Schwans truck. Packed and frozen by a manufacturer.It seems they are more interested in meat processing than being actual local butchers, given the recent facility purchased out of town.

Been there a few times amd the staff is always friendly and helpful. The quality of the iyems sold there is top shelf and their prices are moderate for the area. Selection or sausages is exceptional amd they are all very tasty!!

Rude,As other reviews have stated, I was forwarded multiple times and each person just diverted blame to the next person. The last person was insulting and unhelpful.My packaging was done incredibly poorly, large amounts of air in the chops, shanks, and roasts packaging. Not fully sealed. The ground meat was packaged well. The communication on how the cuts were divided up was poor, talking about certain cuts but not actually marking it onto the cut sheet.Highly suggest sending in your own cut sheet explaining what you want, then relying on the lady on the phone who won't take responsibility for her mistakes.

Messed up my 1/2 beef order request. The prime rib section was aggressively chopped down to just the eye. Where did the spinalis go? Roasts were sealed very poorly. The only thing they did right was pack up the ground beef. When you call for an update with the order, you get transferred to a progressively less competent person with a progressively worse attitude. Will not be back and have not recommended to anyone.

I have been there several times. I felt treated like an outsider by their employees ( hence 4 stars) . However their products are top notch. Their hamburger is awesome. As for some whining about masks, get a life.

Their processing and packaging is very good. However, their customer service when you have a complaint is terrible. When they got my $450 custom processing wrong, I asked for about $20.00 worth of product as compensation. The owner refused and was rude. So, be sure you submit your processing order IN WRITING. Don't rely on phone conversation/messages.
