The Hardy Gallery is an iconic and historical art gallery situated directly on the shore of Eagle Harbor in Door County. Established in the mid-1900s, the gallery provides a non-commercial venue for new and established artists to showcase their work. Over the years, the organization has grown into a multifaceted non-profit that attracts over 14,500 visitors annually and serves 750 artists and youth. The gallery is housed in a 1915 warehouse building, which features graffiti covering every inch of its surface - a tradition started by sailors long ago. The exterior is more interesting than the indoor gallery, with the graffiti and picturesque lake views. Inside, the gallery exhibits a diverse collection of beautiful local art. The gallery also hosts juried art events and an Invitational Art show, making it a unique and highly recommended art destination in the area.

An iconic Door County place. Built in 1915 as a warehouse to store goods brought in my ship. Sailors began the tradition of signing their names, the name of their vessel and the date on the wooden structure. That tradition continues today with graffiti covering every square inch of the buildings surface.
