If I could leave 0 stars I would. I had paid online for $100 worth of shipping labels, but was unable to print them at home - according to the USPS website, the Evansville location had label printing services. Great, right? Wrong! I went in and explained that I had packages to ship, and that I had prepaid the shipping but needed the labels printed, only to be promptly told 'no, we don't do that' and that 'the website is full of lies'. I asked if there were any facilities that did provide this service, and was rudely told 'no' again by the female clerk, and she stated that 'if we did that for everyone it would get even more busy than we already are, nobody does it.' How rude! I understand being busy, but I think this is a fairly simple service - I was even given a QR code to quickly scan and print the labels from the website, and per the instructions it seemed like it would have taken less than 2 minutes to print the labels and stick them on my packages and have them be on their way. The female clerk then proceeded to give me a personal email address and told me to just 'forward her the labels' and she would print them that way - which would have been somewhat of a kind gesture, if it wasn't so unprofessionally and rudely presented. And then they left me alone at the counter to try and figure out which email they'd need, I wasn't sure if I needed to give my credentials so that the labels appeared properly, nothing. I ended up quickly gathering my packages and leaving because I grew embarrassed and flustered, went to my workplace to print off the labels, and then traveled to a completely different post office in Madison - which was a MILLION times more pleasant! The clerks there were extremely nice and helpful, and helped me get my packages going! Kindness is in extremely short supplies these days, and it's a shame that the people working at the Evansville location seem to loathe the people that go to them for assistance. If I could give this negative stars, I would. I'll never go back there for anything.

I have had a package that had been sitting at this damn post office 2 days and it continues to sit their and I live in Broadhead in which is not far but the service at this post office sucks and they seem to move at a snails pace. I am calling USPS in the morning and ask why this post office has such terrible service and work at a snails pace … this is ridiculous

Would like to give 0 stars. We live on US 14. I've always given out the address without the West in it, and we have ALWAYS gotten our packages. If you look up our address, we are the only house number that we have on all of US 14. There's no East, North, or South of our house number. We've never had issues with mail or packages coming to our house without the West. I ordered my daughters main Christmas gift three weeks ago, just so it had plenty of time to get here before Christmas. They had it at the Evansville poat office and in less than a hour and a half of having it, they sent it back! It took three weeks to get it where it was and it was literally 5 minute from us. Now it's on its way back to California. Looked it up and our package is not eligible for intercept. I asked the lady, why have I always gotten mail, can't you look us up!? She said we normally do look people up but there are so many packages this time of year. I get that! But honestly don't allow stuff to be delivered from the start, don't look us up with any packages at all and return all of them so that we know this West is needed, before a damn Christmas present being delivered! I highly doubt that the package will now make it here by Christmas. Thanks for ruining my 3 year old daughters Christmas.

I continue to get unbelievable service from the personal in the post office building in Evansville. My rural deliver person's are Fantastic!! My latest experience was I asked to have my mail held from July 22nd to July 30th. I returned home early on Sunday July 28th to find a package delivered from the US Post Office on my steps in the rain. On Monday I stopped and asked why the package was delivered and was told I had not requested no delivery on Sunday July 28th by the supervisor. Doesn't the 28th fall between the 22nd and 30th?

Had an over sized box stuffed in my too small mailbox. Needless to say the box was pretty bent up and dented. Plus a couple months ago received a package that belonged a mile up the road.

I think I was more then generous with a 2 . Everytime I order something they either deliver it to the wrong house or not at all !! The most recent was something I order from target they claim the left a note I was home all day no note . From now on I will go to different post office and make sure I send my orders or Amazon orders to my work not were people don’t seem to care

I sold an item online. Pre printed the label. Brought it in, it was scanned, I got a receipt and thank you very much.A month later I get a notification that it never arrived. I look at the tracking number and the post office said they never got it.I gave her my address,the ship-to addressthe date and time I stopped inI even showed the label off my email.I had the tracking numberAll this meant nothingNope dont have it you must not have brought it in. Did I keep the receipt? Of course not. Shame on me.Im out $100.00

The Ladies that actually work in the office are extremely rude. They have absolutely no costumer service.
