My favorite morning ritual is snuggling up in my alpaca blanket with my morning brew.

It was a big store, but seemed too commercialized. I prefer the Alpaca store in Lodi, WI!

My husband and I stopped by last minute on our last evening of our Door County vacation. There is a large selection of beautiful sweaters and accessories including socks, gloves and mittens. Wished we had a bit more time but did purchase a pair of socks for each and a pair of gloves. Love that the alpacas are raised locally and that the “unique designs are hand knit, hand crocheted, hand finished and hand inspected”. I will definitely be back and recommend this business to my friends!

I absolutely love the alpaca socks they sell here. They have lots of other merchandise too. More alpaca products, Challa bags, honey and honey products, mead and liqueur, and more. It's a nice stop to add to your Door County shopping fun. I do wish the store was wheelchair accessible. There are stairs to get in, with no ramp available. Even if there was a ramp, there isn't much room inside to maneuver a wheelchair around. I hate seeing places that don't allow people of all abilities access to shop. I would have given this store 5 stars if it were accessible.

The person working in the store was rude. The baby alpaca was outside in the sleet visibly shaking with cold and we asked him about it and he was rude to us and mean. I would never shop there. They need to treat their animals with more respect. If an animal is so cold it is shaking do something to alleviate its discomfort.

10/10 will visit again! If you are an alpaca lover or just looking for some of the softest goods, this is the place for you! Alpaca wool is what I imagine a cloud would feel like....soft, fluffy and oh so snuggly!I will treasure my newly purchased alpaca socks and gloves! There is also a bar on site that specializes exclusively in mead! Please do yourself a favor and stop on! Feel the Alpaca difference and snap a photo with these gentle, empathetic animals!

Used to enjoy this place. We would buy something every time we stopped in. Unfortunately, our latest visit will be our last. The clerk managed to ruin our Fish Creek shopping experience. Makes me sad when store associates unfairly treat families like inferiors.

This is a very cool little shop that is now on my must stop in list when I'm in Fish Creek. The items are very high quality. You will want to buy everything you see. The feel of alpaca 'wool' is very pleasing to the senses. The quality, colors and styles you see all just seem to be begging you to take them home. The staff is friendly and offers help. I had fun sneaking pictures of their "NO PHOTOS" signs. They even sell alpaca balls (see my photos). So if the urge to feel alpaca balls ever overcomes you, head to Alpaca Apparel in Fish Creek. I just might have a new fetish to explore.

When you buy a $200 sweater, you have certain expectations. I bought a lovely baby alpaca wool sweater and wore it once (treating it with great care, since I understand the material is delicate). A mysterious hole appeared after only a few hours. I called the shop, hoping they would replace the expensive item which clearly had quality issues. He refused and even suggested I was lying about my treatment of the garment. Seems like a weird thing to lie about. Anyway, he is "trying to repair it" now, but if I wanted a refurbished, damaged sweater, I would have shopped at a thrift store.

Went looking for socks. The Alpaca wool socks are great. High quality wool and great fit. They have other clothes besides the socks. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend them.

Another gem of Door County. Beautiful merchandise, expertly crafted. A must see every time I'm in Fish Creek. If you are lucky you may see an Alpaca or two in the front pen of the store. So cute!

Absolutely the softest, warmest( without sweating) socks you'll ever buy. Not cheap, but well worth the expense for happy feet, especially come wintertime. A must stop when in Door County, Fish Creek.

Beautiful shop right next to farm with alpacas and ponies. Super family run business selling gorgeous products and clothing. I loved it!
