We come to Door Country every fall and always make sure we spend an afternoon at Hands On. For the past several years we have done glass fusing. Jaylen (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) has been a great mentor. Our children treasure our small glass ornaments more than the expensive German ones we buy.Highly recommend for fun afternoon. Just try it ,,, its a great way to get into your creative self.

My kids (12, 10, 8) and I loved the Hands On Art Studio! We could not believe just how big it is and how many options were available for our creativity! We stuck with the ceramics barn this trip— and loved it so much that we came back twice! Next year, we want to try the glass studio. The employees were so kind and helpful! The ceramics were ready in a timely manner the next day for pick up. Just beware: on a rainy day, it is packed! But we went on sunny days and it was so peaceful to work in their studio. 100% will be going back!

Quite possibly my most favorite place in Door County. So much so my daughters and I make this an annual trip! There's so much to offer to challenge the creative mind for all ages. Just recently my wife and I were able to go just ourselves and work on some more advanced projects we'll be able to display around our house for years to come! Worth the time!

Our son had a great time designing a mosaic and learning to use the tile cutting tools. The staff are great - very patient and encouraging. There are a wide variety of projects to take on. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to choose and be able to work at your pace. It will likely take longer than you think and it's no fun to be rushed.

Great spot to get creative!! I was hooked after my first visit. They offer so many types of projects it's hard to select just one! Painting, ceramics, mosaics, metal work, glass fusing. The fused glass has become my favorite!! An absolute must when visiting Door County!!

Arrived at 3:33, last project time is 3:30, they refused to accommodate. I'm not joking, 3 min past. Plus, we spent 3 min walking back and forth as they rerouted the enterence. So, thanks for that. How sad am I? Not very. They have the same ceramics every year. I have 6 snoopy banks at home. The kids spend 16 min painting, and then you end up making 3 more to keep them entertained. It's a $200- 250 day easily no matter who you are. That's almost a 4 hour boat rental! The real slow down is the lady who hands out the paint colors. She is slower than molasses. Unbearably slow making the experience slightly painful, hence the time limit I suppose. Terrible holiday hours. Check your calendar, no consistency. We come here out of total desperation for something to do. Save you money! The door has better things to offer than this. If you have 5 unicorn banks at home, go elsewhere or rent a jet ski.

This place is amazing! An absolute must-do art activity with the kiddos. We made glass mosaics. It was fun, easy, and they gave us the grout to finish at home so we didn't have to come back to pick up our pieces. Super chill vibe and friendly artists to answer questions and help you out.

Went here with my mom and aunt for some fun crafting time. It did not disappoint! So many options to choose from such as painting, glass murals, pottery, and more. We all chose to do glass murals. The directions were easy to follow and there were so many choices of colors and shapes to choose from. I 100% recommend for anyone who likes to get creative, even kids!

Loved my experience here! I was looking for some activities to do on my trip to Door County in the off season and Hands On was exactly what I was looking for. They are only open Friday-Sunday in the off season, which I didn’t realize right away. But I’m so glad we made the stop there on the last day of the trip. There are so many options of projects to try and they guide you through them in a nice way. You’re greeted right away and they give you a run down of how it all works. But then they give you time to explore and figure out what you want to do. Once we had landed on doing the mosaics, the staff in that area were great at getting us started and checked in on how we were doing multiple times. I had such a great time and definitely want to come back to try out a different project!

What a fun afternoon with friends. Our only regret is that we didn't arrive earlier. The staff was enthusiastic, supportive and fun. Thanks so much for the warm hospitality on a cold snowy Sunday!

We're in our 60s, and we had a blast here. Jaylen helped my husband and i make a glass wind chime. He was very helpful and patient. It was a lot of fun and now we have a nice us-made souvenir of our trip to beautiful Fish Creek.

This place is freaking awesome. My boyfriend and I happened to stumble upon their adult ceramics class and it was phenomenal. Live music + drinks + reasonably priced art? SIGN US UP! This is a must do if you go to Door County. So worth the money
