Out of all the YMCAs I’ve been to on vacation, this one was one of the best. Super nice layout, plenty of machine options, stocked paper and sanitizer wipes, and a great selection of weights. I hit a great back/bicep day here, next time I’m in Door County I’m coming back for sure.

Great facility and friendly staff here. My first experience in the door was pleasant and i was helped quickly to get set up and enrolled as a member. The facility is nice new and clean. The workout area is a little cramped and for the amount of people that were there It was cramped but I was still able to get in a good workout. I think it was just an after school crowd. But once that died down it was just fine.

What a pleasure. I am a member at the Kenosha location and wow what a difference concerning the reception from the front desk. The Kenosha location consists of men and women, who for some reason believe staring at their phones is a acceptable work ethic. Enough about that was just not prepared for someone so helpful and courteous. What a breath of fresh air!! Our youth could benefit from a one hour lesson from the wonderful lady who was at the front desk Friday and Saturday October 20/21. Thanks for showing me there are people who still care about going above and beyond the call of duty. Fantastic facility as well, clean and orderly.

Our experience was not kid friendly. Especially the patrolling lifeguard. We had coast guard certified vests for our toddler, following posted rules, but still had to answer many questions. He even pulled in a second woman to berate us. Then lectured on how we can not use the jacuzzi, which we weren’t, because our child would faint and we should be very concerned. It lasted many minutes. Very bizarre. We see the sign for minimum age of 14. We were following rules. Kid pool was roped off. Really sour experience for a young family. Great for retires.

My family of four occasionally visits this Y branch. It's a little smaller but it's perfect. The little wading pool is great for my two young kids, ages 6 & 2. The water temp is cozy for them and they enjoy playing with the water toys. The family locker room is handy; our only wish is that they had a swim suit water extractor like the Sturgeon Bay branch. It's still a good spot for an afternoon swim!
