I have taken a few classes here and it never disappoints. I will be coming back for more after a few wonderful experiences and the talented instructors they bring in Sarah Mann, Susan Richter-O'Connell, Melis Agabigum, and others. Love that they have a large selection of tools for the jewelry/metalspace. This place is clean, restrooms nice and roomy (handicap accessible), and the grounds are well maintained. Staff is friendly and very helpful with questions or allowing viewing pieces from the on exhibit art collections.

What an amazing jewel for the arts in Door County! I stopped in to see the (free) gallery exhibit and beautiful facility once again. Exhibits change frequently and have never disappointed me. And I am so excited by the gallery that I decided to take some classes too!

Twice, I received verbal and nonverbal messaging at the front doors " You're not welcome here, if you are not in a class." A third time, I arrived in a Tesla and dressed to look like an art collector. My welcome was very different. If I had come in with money in my first visits, Would I have been more welcome? If there was a sign that read STUDENTS ONLY at the property entrance, it would have eliminated the confusion.

ATTN: Door County Public Health closes all campgrounds over safety concerns...The County is asking lodging entities to consider reducing the risk to our neighbors by not accepting new reservations and canceling those that exist to encourage people to temporarily not travel to the area. The sooner we address this issue in Door County, the sooner we can get back to welcoming guests to our peninsula again.

Great setting with smiling helpers providing the space to grow, learn and have fun! Very reasonable to have a week away with your peers!

My friend & I took the monoprint class with Don yesterday. Here's a sample of the work that we completed. Don was GREAT! He gave a demo with how-to use printing inks, the printing press and printmaking paper. Then he let us create, in a supportive environment, with guidance strategically provided. My girlfriend knew nothing about printmaking and was uncertain. She made all the botanical prints and was very happy with the class. We also made cards with our plates. Monoprint Class with Don & Peninsula School of Art are both highly recommended. Take a class or two!!!!

As a past participant in the Door County Plein Air Event, every event I do is compared to you all. You set the bar high. Thinking of you all with fondness. Have a great year!

I took a pastels class here, (1st time using pastels)... It opened a new world to me! I'm continuing to learn but I am very happy I took the class. I will take another when I am back in town! The instructor was amazing and the scenery in door county is unbeatable. I would suggest this art school to anyone!

Fun.....meeting new and old friends and enjoying the creativity of the many businesses in the County. Not something a Shop Owner gets to do often.....so I enjoyed every minute of it.

I love everything about this place. I drive 7 hours from Iowa to take a workshop nearly every summer or fall, because I have had such great experiences every time. The instructors have been talented, knowledgeable, and all just really likeable people. I have learned so much, and not just from the artists themselves, but from the other students. Such a great school. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in creativity.
