The staff definitely cares for all the furry friends that step foot through the door. All questions are welcomed, without judgement and the prices are fair. I called for a quote for a small animal tooth trim and it was reliable. I really appreciate the gentle way they interacted with my pet guinea pig!

I've taken my pets here for over 15 yrs. Always have kind and reliable staff. Dr. Hook s great and shows genuine concern. The prices are slightly higher here I'm assuming due to location.

They were amazing and supportive for my senior rabbit's end of life care. They went above and beyond to make sure she and I were both comfortable.

Doesn’t care about customers or patients. Only cares about money! I missed an appointment due to my father getting into a bad car accident. I was unable to call and cancel it ahead of time. When I was able to call and explain what happened they still charged me with a missed appointment fee and said it has to be paid before they will see my pets again.

The vet and workers are all amazing. I had some concerns at first seeing the stars on the review but all the complaints were nonsensical at best. Yes all the employees wear masks but that is standards for any health related fields and only had a mask requirement during the height of COVID. The staff were very professional for check-in and examining my pet. The vet assistants showed clear knowledge of my pet, budgie, and gave recommendations on how I can make her more comfortable. The vet also handled my budgie in a way that doesn't make her too stressed. The medication I was given were very clear and affordable as well. I would recommend going here before going to any of the bigger vet clinics.

Dr. Hook and his team are amazing! I have a green cheek conure who's doing well under their care. She just had a stay here while we were on vacation. Martin played some bong music for her and she got to watch Snow White. I can tell she had a lot of fun while we were gone! And yes they will microchip a green cheek conure here!

Have been coming here with my reptiles for a couple years now, but my most recent euthanasia appointment has me questioning if I will return. It felt really impersonal and a bit of a money grab. For context, it was a 15yo bearded dragon we took in as a rescue a few years ago and she was in rough shape. The clinic said before they agree to euthanize they will need to perform a check up/evaluation, which makes sense (they've seen her before but it had been 3-4 years). It consistent of me explaining to the receptionist/assistant why she is suffering and some of the odd behaviors she is showing. Then the vet came it, spent all of 30 seconds looking, and said "yup she looks rough go ahead and sign here and we can euthanize". $108 for that "evaluation".Then came the euthanasia, which I was told I could be there for when I setup the apt. Nope. Vet picked her up and said "say your goodbyes" and took her away. That was that. I feel terrible I couldn't be there. Another $120. And my only option was to pickup her body the next day because I didn't want to do one of their cremation packages.

I very rarely leave reviews and when I do it is almost always positive. In this instance, I feel like I people should be aware of the inflexibility of this clinic. Please be aware that their 24 hour cancellation policy is an absolute. Does not matter if you are sick or have a legit emergency. With the extremely high price for a general exam, over $100 and long lead times for an appointment, I would think you would be given a small amount of grace. We come from 30-45 plus minutes away and life sometimes happens. The making of a good business is what you do when things come up...the inflexibility here definitely put Arbor Ridge into the proceed with caution category for me.

Really disappointed after a recent visit. My dog is on prescription medication and thus I must purchase the food directly from the vet. I went in following work at around 5:15 pm last Thursday.I had recently missed his yearly check up and they told me they were unable to allow me to purchase a big bag of food, but would "allow" me to purchase a smaller bag until he gets his appointment completed.I think that's a silly policy. But that's not really what I was disappointed in.I went out to my car and thought about it. My dog is 130lbs -- the small bag would not last him until his appointment was scheduled.I went back and they had already locked up 25 minutes prior to their stated closing hours. (side note: this was not the first time I've encountered unexpected early closures). But they were still there and opened the door for me. I began my sentence "hey I have a question about this food"The person working cut me off and responded immediately, "I'm not giving you a bigger bag".I told her I was not seeking a larger bag but simply asking whether the small bag would last until my appointment. The person working responded "it should".I was never rude or raised my voice so I really did not understand why they refused to even discuss the issue. So yes, I believe that policy is silly.. But that wasn't why I was disappointed. There was no concern about whether my dog had enough food until his next visit. And presumably, they won't be giving me any more food until his checkup.Just sad!

Today I had to take my dog into the emergency vet where he had to have surgery. Just like everybody there’s some financial hardship when it comes to surgery and biopsies. My dog was still under sedation and the ER recommended taking a FNA sample to check for cancer. I called my clinic, Arbor Ridge pet clinic, to get a quote to compare cost of doing it now or in a week. And the receptionist at Arbor Ridge told me I can’t give you that because it would be a lot of work on my end to get it. Even had the ER veterinarian talk to him, and he told her the same thing. Needless to say it was “too much work” for him to find a quote on a time sensitive and sensitive subject.

Made an appointment for my bird to get looked at and unfortunately had an emergency where my father was involved in an accident and fighting for his life. I was unable to call and cancel the appointment. They want to charge a $96.50 fee because I didn't make the appointment and they refuse to remove the charge which they fail to tell you it will be charged when scheduling the appointment. Very caring and understanding when it comes to their customers/patients....NOT! Obviously only care about money!

I was able to get my dog seen for a new patient appointment on short notice. Dr. Hook did a wonderful job assessing my boys health. I really appreciated his thoroughness and calmness.

A warning if you are scheduling for new puppy, they booked over our appointment a week before we were getting our dog, leaving us scrambling. They left a message late Thursday to confirm the appointment and were closed/didn’t pick up when we tried back and then booked over the appointment immediately Monday morning. They did not inform us the appointment would be rebooked immediately. There appear to be a lot of good clinics in the area that aren’t so aggressive with appointments, so I’d look around if you are getting a new pet.
