This La Petite location is horrible. I have two children that used to go to this location and every single day I would have to sign an accident report, sometimes more than one within a day. One day my daughter came home with very sever injuries to her face, including her eye swollen shut. The staff claimed that one of the teachers had fallen on her out at recess while they were headed back inside. I should have reported this incident, as I was extremely upset. The assistant director Lacey is extremely rude and unqualified. I now take my children to the La Petite Academy over on Fourier Drive in Madison. We love this location! It’s run very well with excellent staff. They also don’t change staff every other week like this La Petite did. Since my children have been attending this new La Petite on Fourier drive, I have not yet had to fill out any accident reports for either of my children, and we have been attending this new La Petite for a little over a year and a half! If I could I would give this place zero stars. I would never leave my children here ever again. I’m disgusted that I had even ever let my children attend this location, as I feel that they were never safe under the care and supervision at La Petite Fitchburg. Here is a photo of what my daughter looked like after being in La Petite’s “care.” I was at work, while they were abusing my daughter! I will NEVER let this go! I will NEVER get over this!!!!

My son started at this location when he was a baby and we couldn't be happier with the staff and center. A few notes to help families. There are camera systems there where you can check in on your little ones throughout the day. My son was having issues during lunch so I was able to watch and work with the teachers on how to help both at school and at home. I watched the videos quite frequently and there was only ever one small issue with a new teacher which the director took care of right away. They are also very gracious with the transitions of classrooms. They were willing to be flexible with our comfort level of how quickly to transition up in classrooms. Ms. Alia is AMAZING! She is a guru when it comes to guiding behavior and developing social emotional skills. Lastly, THEY ARE VERY ACCOMODATING! This is the number one reason why we loved this center. Our family had special diet needs and we also don't work normal hours. It was so easy to communicate what he ate each day and if we were picking up early or late through their brightwheel app. I would say no center is perfect but this one I gave five stars because they were always available to communicate with through phone, e-mail, or the app. I was confident my son was safe and in a positive learning environment. My greatest feedback as a mom is that my son never wanted to come home because he loved it there so much!

We have been very happy with this LaPetite location since our son started there in the infant room. 3 years later, he is a very happy and social little guy, and I think a lot of it has to do with the care he's received here. The teachers and staff are very friendly and accommodating. His teachers from the infant and toddler classes still say hello to us everytime we see them in the hallway. They have offered "extra" classes like Spanish, and are always doing very fun and creative projects and games with the kids. We've been very happy with the care here!

The Academy preaches they have a program for excellent training for teachers, yet it is never followed through. As a parent, you might want to really question the teachers morals and values, because it is not in the best interest of your child. I personally believe the staff at this Academy does not take the health and safety of the children they look after seriously. The Academy do not even deserve a star...

I put my son there recently but as soon as he started there, literally his 2nd day while i went to pick him up, he was totally soaked from top to bottom with his socks and shoes literally dripping water, i inquired with his teacher and she said by the way he is wet from playing outside in the melting snow water puddle. For a second i can understand that probably my son jumped in the water as kids are kids but why wouldn't you stop him at all until he is completely soaked from top to bottom. There was a extra set of clothing in the backpack but she didn't even bother to change him. what are you charging $273 a week the parents for if you aren't even gonna do your job or take care of the kids? Very very disappointed. Just FYI after that incident my son was sick for the whole week with high temperatures of 105/106, i have all medical/ER records.

We have had a good experience with both of our kids. The director and staff have been flexible dealing with our complex schedule. The staff have shown a positive and caring attitude with our children.

This daycare center has been outstanding. The teachers are attentive, caring and creative. My daughter looks forward to seeing her friends every day and never even looks twice when I drop her off. She loves all the art projects, daily walks and buggy rides, and snacks they provide. As for us, the staff is really accommodating and flexible. Willing to do cloth diapering, offer food from home (or they can provide meals), allow a wide range of pick up and drop off times, and have flexible scheduling - anywhere from intermittent (called flexcare) to 5 days a week.Recently under new management, this great day care center is getting better! The new director is friendly, organized, and a good communicator, making the experience at Fitchburg La Petite even better!

I enrolled my daughter in the infant program at La Petite Academy in Fitchburg when she was 8 weeks old, and I have been extremely happy with the care Sheila and her team (particularly Stephanie in the infant room) have given.I was a bit nervous when I first left my daughter (it was my first time away from her) but everyone made me feel really comfortable, and my daughter loved it. She was all smiles when I came to pick her up, and there were no problems leaving her in the morning. My daughter got to do many things - painting, stories, rides in a cart inside and outside. They were also very flexible - I was allowed to come in and feed her at lunchtimes - they arranged a quiet private space for me.I would definitely recommend this center to anyone looking for quality daycare for an infant!

As a first-time mom I was extremely nervous to put my son in daycare. Shelia and Stephanie (infant room) made it a lot easier. Stephanie is hilarious!!! When I dropped him off on the first day, Stephanie offered to cry with me. But, instead of crying, she actually made me laugh so hard that all my tension went away. My son loves riding in the red cart and he is learning new things everyday. I love that he gets to crumple paper, paint with his hands and feet, and interact with other kids.I often drop by on around lunch time to check on my little one. I'm always welcomed and offered a private space to nurse him.In short, this is a great place and I'm glad that my son has great energy around him!!
