Hate coming here. I finally switched pharmacies to Costco. Walgreens never had my medication even when they messaged me saying it's ready for pick up. Sometimes they're not even open when they're supposed to be. Lately there has been no staffing and I had to just switch. My medication refills were so unreliable.

They were out of my prescription. How to stack? And uh we're not helpful at all in helping me and fix it, because I needed my medication that day, because I was out, I will sure soon be finding a new pharmacy to go to

I was recently told by a young male pharmacy tech that I couldn't pick up an antibiotic prescription without speaking to the pharmacist first as this prescription is contraindicated due to a penicillin allergy (after he asked what my symptoms of my penicillin allergy are and I told him that I had already discussed it with my doctor and it was none of his business). Which is ridiculous because I've had this Rx before (even picked it up from Walgreens without issue previously) and my doctor prescribes it *because* of my allergy. I informed the tech of this. They said they couldn't release the med without me speaking to the pharmacist, who was unavailable at the moment and I would have to wait a while or come back later. Nice waste of my lunch break.
The kicker? I had a friend go and pick it up for me an hour later. Zero hassle or questions, did not have to speak to the pharmacist.

Get a notification your prescription is ready, wait in line for 20 minutes, and it’s not even ready. Come back the next day and it’s still not ready. Had to leave for a vacation two days after that and they still didn’t have it then. Went a week and a half without meds.

Slow service. Rude employees. One followed me around, obviously thinking i was stealing. I have autism, so i take a bit longer to make decisions. One could argue that is DISCRIMINATION.

I had an appointment here for my flu shot/booster before Christmas and the staff and pharmacist were very friendly, helpful, and the appointment was pretty quick. I recommend filling out your paperwork online ahead of time to expedite the process!

Completely incompetent pharmacy staff. They have messed up orders, lost filled prescriptions more than once (including a controlled substance), and promised to fill orders but failed to do so.

Prescriptions are always late: 1hr or more wasted every time a prescription is filled here. They send the notification that meds are ready for pick-up. We wait in line for 15-20 min to pick them up. We are turned away because at least one prescription isn't filled. They tell us to come back in an hour. We come back in an hour. We wait 30-45min because now it's one of the busy pick-up times. We are turned away because at least one prescription isn't filled. They tell us to come back in an hour. We tell them no, fill it while we wait. We get the meds after another 30min wait because they can't fill and label a bottle. Add time travelling to and from Walgreens 2 or 3 times.

Unbelievably incompetent staff. They mess up my basic prescriptions every month and I spend hours every time trying to straighten it out for them. I genuinely believe Walgreens hires the worst of the graduating class to staff their pharmacies. According to some folks at a large nearby healthcare IT company, Walgreens pays the worst so they can't attract decent talent or enough talent which makes sense. I moved everything over to SSM Health and haven't had a problem since. CVS also was excellent until I was forced to Walgreens b/c of insurance. SSM is a bit out of the way but they can mail everything over so I don't have to spend time explaining to pharmacy "professionals" how to do their jobs any more. Super easy to move everything like refills over. The new pharmacy you choose simply takes care of it. No need to contact your doctor or anything. Treat yourself to less pain and find a new pharmacy today!

Everyone here is very nice and does a great job. They were really efficient when I got my flu shot and COVID booster and they always answer all my questions. A bit short-staffed lately but doing really well under the circumstances.
