I went to American Bolt for bulk frame bolt. Fastenal has made it near impossible to buy bolts same day. American bolt has no minimum order, has the same products. Took my card over the phone and had bolts ready for me to pick up, no minimum $500 a month bin purchase, no minimum order for 400 nuts at $900 plus dollars, no account required no BS.

Everytime I go to get bolts, nuts, tools they either have none or little to none.... Always get the answer we will have to order it in it will be 1 or 2 days.... Not impressed.... They are now my last choice in the line up of hardware stores...

I needed a small part to fix a toy for our great nephews. I checked several places in FDL before coming to Fastenal, which was recommended to me. This was my first experience with them and I was thrilled to get the necessary part ordered and delivered promptly and without spending a fortune.
