This is the only place I will ever take my framing needs! The owner does a fabulous job. She listens to what I want and I even let her get creative with some pieces - and she does not disappoint!!! I love the work so much that even though I moved to Florida - when I fly back to visit family, I take more art for framing! I will not let anyone else handle my framing needs. Highly recommend!!

Heather Danielson and her husband John are the owner-operators of the Gallery on the Main in Fort Atkinson. They offer the finest custom framing in the region. Would I consider going to a frame shop other than Gallery on the Main? No! What rationale supports this position? 1. They maintain an extensive, well organized collection of frame stock from multiple suppliers, 2. They maintain a well organized mat board collection including both conservation and paper mat board, 3. They offer a variety of both acrylic and glass glazes, 4. Consultation with Heaather to plan the presentation and preservation of a piece of fine art, fine craft, or keepsake is a creative experience, 5. Heather has refined skills with computer technology that she uses when planning and implementing the design plans developed during the consultation, 6. Heather is a creative, resourceful problem solver and designer, 7. Together, Heather and John complete frames as scheduled, and 8. They attend framing conferences to extend their knowledge of materials, equipment, and procedures in the framing process and business.

I had two prints I wanted framed for a birthday gift, and I didn't leave Heather much lead time. She picked out the perfect frame for the subject of the prints, and she had them done in time for the event. Beautiful work, Heather! I have more prints that I will be having her do in the future.

I brought Heather a large oil painting I needed stretched. She did a wonderful job on my art. It came out better than I expected and she was extremely helpful. I feel the cost and time it took were both appropriate given it's large size. I would not hesitate to use her again.

Heather, the owner, is AWESOME. She has a design degree that really made me comfortable trusting her ideas and instincts on my framing project. I first tried Michael's but all they did was quote me on the layout I presented to them, where Heather gave me options I would have never come up with on my own. End result was something more appropriately sized, priced, and that I love, as does my husband who it was a surprise gift for.
