I threw my lunch away! I order the Orange chicken lunch special and it was horrible! The chicken taste like it was old and possible refried. It also had a after taste to it. Even the veggie egg roll was horrible. I just threw the entire meal away. I will not be coming back.

The hot and sour soup was not satisfactory. Hard to describe … had a sweet taste. Not set up for dining in.

Peking Chef is located in a strip mall. They seem to have mainly pick up and delivery options, but there are tables to eat there. Place your order in the back of the restaurant. It helps to look at the menu online before coming so you aren't standing there trying to read all they have to offer. The daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch special, which came with a choice of white or fried rice, egg roll of choice (shrimp, pork, or veggie) or crab Rangoon, or soup. She got the fried rice and pork eggroll. I was going to order the Chinese fried chicken, but it didn't come with anything, so I opted for the pepper steak with the same choices for sides. I chose the fried rice and veggie egg roll. We also ordered crab Rangoon, which came with six large pieces. Our server brought the food out to us in to-go containers, which was very helpful because there was a lot of food. He brought Styrofoam plates and also brought us a bag to put all of our leftovers in. The food was very hot and had a nice flavor. The Rangoon had a touch of sweet without being too sweet like I've had elsewhere. Our waiter offered to bring us water, but we bought a can of Coke to share. There are other varieties of Coke products to purchase in either can or bottle. Everything we ordered came to under $30, which I thought was very reasonable. I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.Vegetarian options: Many options that are meat free but I'm sure if you asked for something without meat, they would happily not add it.Dietary restrictions: Let the staff know of any issues.Parking: There is a large parking lot with many stores and a physical therapy office right next door so disabled parking wasn't available for us.Kid-friendliness: Lots of choices for all palates.Wheelchair accessibility: No problems getting into the restaurant. There is a one door entry that pulls out. To get up onto the sidewalk can be tricky. We were unable to find disabled parking, so we had to park in a regular spot. The sidewalk to the business has a step all the way around except right where the accessible parking is located and there is a ramp. There aren't a lot of accessible spots, so plan on looking for a ramp to access with a wheelchair, walker, or scooter.

We ordered 2 egg rolls, pad see eew, and a red curry. Egg rolls were alright, pad see eew was delicious, but the curry is not good. Has potential, kind service. Hope they succeed.

This is normally our go to Chinese take out in Bayside. Ordered the general Tso’s chicken as usual and the chicken was absolutely rotten. Smelled like roadkill as I bit into it. Tried calling the restaurant but they were closed. Will never eat here again if they are willing to serve that to customers.

Horrible service! I called to see why my order was cancelled they asked me to call DoorDash, when I called DoorDash they three way called them, Peking said they could help me and DoorDash left the call. They then proceeded to tell me to call DoorDash and hung up on me!

I ordered a delivery and inside the bag was the wrong item. I called the restaurant and they got the manager on the phone (I calmly called and didn’t ask to talk to the manager, just for context) who told me that they could get the right item delivered in 15 minutes if I didn’t mind waiting and that he was very sorry. I expected them to just offer a credit or something similar. I didn’t expect them to bring the correct item let alone in a timely manner on a Friday evening, but they went above and beyond. I love their food and am happily surprised at how nicely they handled the situation. Peking Chef for the win!

Food is always good and cooked to order. My favorite is sesame chicken. It is so good.

Ordered food and got food poisoning. Called to ask for a refund and the owner/manager was very angry and kept denying it. At one point she said I was lying and asked me why I didn't call last night after I ordered. I told her I waited until today because I was too busy barfing my brains out. I'm not usually one to post a complaint online but the customer service was terrible, not too mention the food poisoning.

I’ve been coming here for years.Grew up in the North Shore now live near UWM area. I’m NOT a fake reviewer - zero relationship with the restaurant in any capacity. We order food Peking Chef or we dine in for my birthday every year. I order takeout when I’m eating alone or working odd hours. My dish is Kweetiau Goreng, I believe D7. My dad used to get it, I tasted it once years ago and now it’s my dish along with cream cheese wantons. I will say the crab cheese wantons have slightly changed. They used to have more garlic in them but now slightly less. I like them still the same.

The reviews here are not real. Just go there and you will see with your own eyes. There's something wrong with this place.

It was some of the worst food. I do not expect dumplings I can buy at the store. The soup was nothing more than a strong chicken soup base and the noodles in my dinner were all stuck together. For 70 bucks I expect way more!!!

Hard to see, but the Sesame chicken and sweet & sour chicken were awesome. By some work of magic or wizardry the order was ready, a rather large order, in under 15 minutes. The whole gang loved it. Well done Peking Chef!
