I'd give this company a ZERO - VERY bad experience with a window system purchase. They completely messed up my order (admittedly) on a very expensive door and refused to pay me for any labor to install a lock in it. The whole problem took months to resolve. After over 50 yrs of architecture and construction experience this experience rises to near top as - terrible.

Fantastic place. Guys are really knowledgeable and helpful. Bought windows and doors for new construction house in Mequon. Great product, great install, great prices. They also did a fully custom range hood for me too. It came out perfect.I cannot say enough nice things about this place.

I’m a novice do it yourself builder on my property. They are pleasant and endlessly patient with my questions. They treat my small orders with the same respect I’d get as a large builder.

I ask my contractors to use Neuens whenever possible. Always great service and it is a family owned business that gives back to the community ten fold. Before you go to the big-box, check out Neuens.

They always honor their commitments. First class millwork. I am a carpenter that has done business there for decades.

The staff is knowledgeable, the products are quality, and the service is unbeatable. You can confidently walk into Neuens with a goal and know that the staff will help you achieve that goal or offer new/different means of working towards it. The store is family owned and that is reflected in their cheerful service. Not to mention that they have free coffee, free popcorn, free quotes, and free delivery!

Knowledgeable staff that you can tell have been working close with builders for years. They only sell high quality tools so you don't have to worry that your new drill is going to die after only one project.

Friendly staff and great selection of tools. Definitely the kind of place that makes me feel good about shopping local and supporting small business.

Living in a small town I always try to steer towards local business first when the need arises. Unfortunately the few times I've wandered into neuns I was not treated kindly by staff. My first time was shortly after I moved into a nearby home in 1999. I ordered a piece of glass to be cut and the employee that assisted me made rude comments about the home I purchased and my neighbors as well. I was in shock that someone local could be so rude to someone in town. Another time I visited was to purchase some paint brushes for a project I was working on and the employee would not give me the time of day. Was it because I am a woman? Or because I wasn't purchasing something large? Very strange behavior for a business in retail. I did go back one other time out of desperation for duct tape. Will drive down to grafton and use Home Depot before I give my money to neuens. Had they treated me a little nicer maybe they would still have a loyal customer 16 years later- but I do not do rude from any kind of business. And all these years later I make more money to spend And have those bigger projects to do. Too little too late.

I will never do business here again!!! My project started to get a new back door in November 2013. I will admit, we had problems with the first carpenter conveying the design of the door we wanted. We found out in May 2014 that our door was never ordered. Fired that carpenter and dealt with Chris directly to design my door, which I was told would take 6-8 weeks. The problem is, Chris apparently NEVER checks his email. So when the door company emailed to finalize some details, guess who never looked at the email??!! So guess who couldn't make the door without the needed details? So after never ending phone calls and babysitting, we finally got our door in DECEMBER of 2014. And, the icing on the cake... it was in such poor condition- sand marks on the wood, splintered wood, chipped wood - we can't use it. So in January 2015 Chris said he would replace the door- telling us it would take 6 - 8 weeks. I called today, March 9, 2015, to see where my door was, and Chris has not even ordered the new door yet!!!! WTF. So another promise of a door in 6-8 weeks. I will bet $1000.00 that there will be no door - I think I will be lucky to have a door by the end of summer.
