Sunrise Orchards is a multi-generational, family-owned orchard in the scenic bluffs of Southwest Wisconsin. It is a cherished autumn tradition, more than just an orchard. The place is always clean, with a huge variety of beautiful apples, all shined up and on display. They grow over 21 apple varieties, including favorites like the Evercrisp. The orchard is famous for its legendary apple cider donuts, fresh-pressed cider, and fantastic caramel apples. Visitors also enjoy other delicious treats like chili, pulled pork sandwiches, peanut clusters, and hundreds of specialty foods and gifts.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The business offers family-friendly events, a Family Fun Park, and a Dog Walk Park. Many customers return year after year, valuing the great place and great people. They often take boxes of apples and dozens of donuts home, sharing the experience across generations. It is a great place to check out for seasonal treats and a fun, family visit.

We enjoy traveling to Gays Mills for fresh apples. We went early this year and beat the crowds. Plenty of apples and varieties. We also picked up some apple cider donuts (of course!) and fresh from the oven apple turnovers. The drive from Madison was lovely though it was a little early for fall colors.
