About Great River Road Interpretive Center
The Great River Road Interpretive Center offers a fun and educational experience with displays about the history and ecology of the Mississippi River area. Visitors can see live fish, turtles, and sturgeon in tanks, watch short videos, and take a self-guided tour of the fish hatchery. The staff are helpful, and the center is a great place for all ages to learn about the river, Native American history, and local wildlife.

Wonderful experience!! Lots of displays about life and History of the Mississippi. Getting to see all the Sturgeon in the tanks was really cool. Staff were awesome! We will definitely visit again!

We were there off season. No one available to answer questions. Exhibits were well done though.

Enjoyed the aquariums and the history of the Black Hawk War. Quite a nice place.
