I used to love this Petco, last time I came in a few days ago the cashier messed up my transaction (fine whatever) and put it in as cash but it somehow still charged my card $100+. The “manager” proceeded to “cancel the transaction” and rang me up again amounting to $200+. Both transactions posted to my account and now I am having to go through trouble with my bank due to someone else’s error.

Paid over $110 plus tip just to come home and have to brush her again because hair was just falling off of her. After 2 mins of brushing, this is what we got off of her. This is beyond ridiculous. Never bringing her back here again.

It's Petco. The added bonus of this Petco is a knowledgeable staff who are willing and happy to share that knowledge with you, and if they don't know the answer they'll find an answer for you.

We stopped in for a beta fish. They have a wonderful selection of fish bit. we found the habitats and accessories a bit out of our budget, so we bought the fish here and a new tank, and accessories elsewhere.

Most always a friendly clerk to help out if needed. My puppy has peed twice in store and they have never made me feel guilty about it!

I took my puppy to the Canine Good Citizen training class at Petco in Germantown. Leia is an excellent trainer and helped my puppy successfully pass the CGC test. The class was not only about passing the test though. Leia gave me great pointers and suggestions on how to best handle my dog. She really understands humans and dogs.

Employees were helpful. We went to buy a fish and waited 10 minutes after finding an employee to try and help us. Maybe a help button by the fish tanks so employees know there is a customer.
Otherwise- very well run store. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a puppy food that had no poisonus copper sulphate that too many dog food manufacturers put in dog food. I finally found some here. It seems that our dogs food is a good place to dispose of plating waste.
