My son had his oil changed at the Germantown location on Friday. Yesterday his check engine light came on, he's vehicle was 2qts low on oil and had almost no coolant. Now his engine might be blown and we had to tow it to a dealership. Very upset about this. No one responds to our emails

I had left a 1 ⭐️ review previously, about a year ago. My experience at this location was AWFUL. However, today was great. Haley, Damond and whomever was under my car - worked together FLAWLESSLY. They didn’t skip a beat, made sure they made me aware of everything going on, and ran through all of my specs with me. Thank you three for being great. Without a question, they deserve their praises. Hardworking, informative, knowledgeable and efficient. The boss needs to take them to lunch!

I visited for my past two oil changes. After the first time I realized I was missing 2 bolts on the skid plate. I replaced them myself because i noticed a couple months later. Then I went back yesterday and it took 45 minutes. After they said they were done I asked if they put all the bolts back in because I heard the impact 5 times and I have 10 bolts. The man told me they did and didn’t double check or anything. So I got out and checked myself and I was missing 5 bolts out of 10. Half of the bolts were missing! I went back inside and they put the bolts on, but that’s it. They also way over inflated my tires.

I went in for a quick oil change which I received. None of the additional services were performed, no air filter check, no washer fluid top off, no battery check. I had to beg them to check the tires. I've been to this location before and haven't had these issues, but today was very disappointing.Service: Oil change

Slow service, un educated in there own product, never check tires nor tested batteries just said they were good never checked lights. more goofing around than working. Went to bathroom look like homeless people lived in there. Store cleanings was poor floor supper oilyPrices are higher compared to other places for what u get serviced. I've used this location on a few occasions, and have always had a great experience in the past. This is why I chose Valvoline this past weekend for an oil change & coolant flush. There was a young (possibly teenage) woman working with 3 younger men (again likely teenage). The young woman asked if she could step around to check the cabin air filter, I said of course, but this never happened. The air filter under the hood was never checked, and I had to ask to have the washer fluid filled (which I had always thought was a courtesy). None of the 4 individuals working knew what color the power steering fluid should be, and spent more time goofing off, taking selfies under the hood of my vehicle and eating cheeseburgers than they did being attentive to their clients. I left spending $200, which may be pocket change for some but was a nice dent in my bank account for me. Which, would not have been an issue had I felt everything was taken care of properly and that my time at Valvoline was worthwhile. In fact, the young woman spent more time trying to figure out if I had a burnt out brake light, than she did checking filters and fluid levels. Such an annoying experience. I even made a stop at a privately owned shop on my way home to make sure everything was tight and secure, and fluid levels were proper - which cost an additional $87 because it was found that the oil level was at least 1 quart low, and the coolant level was not proper either. I'd likely scope out who's working in the future and choose to go somewhere else if the place is full of inattentive children. Inattentiveness in this field could cost someone 10's of thousands of dollars, should there have been any worse mistakes made and a vehicle was damaged due to improper fluid levels or otherwise.Service: Oil change

First time at this location since I’m new to Germantown. The guys were all super friendly and helpful. Came in for an oil change and one of the guys came over to check my cabin air filter. It really needed to be changed but I had no idea! He mentioned to me that it can have a huge effect on the air quality in my car and I really appreciated that. I'm really not sure why they get a bad rap. I have never had any issues with any oil changes or the staff they employ. They have always been friendly and nice.

Individual arc'd the filter wrench across the starter causing sparks seen from cabin. All electronics set to default. lucky that's all that happened. oil splashed across engine bay, not cleaned up. NONE of the maintenance checks completed. But they all say CHECKED. Crooked as they come....#Ishouldknowbetter .......smh

DO NOT take your car to this location.We got an oil change on 8/29, noticed a leak on a rainy day so we took our car back in on 9/14, then on 9/16 my engine cut out completely while I was driving. THANK GOD I didn't have any of my 4 young children in the car or I wasn't on the freeway where we could have gotten hurt or hurt others.We got our car towed to Engine and Transmission Exhange who said our oil was BONE DRY and our engine is ruined. It would cost us $11,000 to repair.Also, during the oil change on 8/29 the tech could not find where to put the dipstick back and dropped it into the engine compartment then after finding it just quickly shoved it back somewhere and moved on.We filed a claim with valvolines and Shawn the manager was rude and TERRIBLE with communication and his customer service. He denied the claim which is very obviously due to their negligence.We are now proceeding with legal action.
