I went to the Germantown store after work, about 11 am. The store was very clean, and the shelves were stocked full. I’ve been going to this Walmart for a few months now because I’m extremely happy with the lower prices compared to Piggly Wiggly and Metro Market. The Great Value brand is very good, actually I was quite surprised and a whole lot cheaper. I will definitely keep shopping here for groceries.

Trash location. If you’re not going to let people in ur store 10-15 minutes before closing time, change your closing time. Waste of my time. Could have started a drive to a place that would have actually been open like target or meijer. Walmart is fine in a pinch but other than that they’ve gone downhill since covid. Place is always a mess too.

Ordered a custom birthday cake for my 4 year old son over a week before we needed it. Less than 24 hours before pick up, they cancelled my order, leaving me other option to order from a different location or store. When I called to talk with someone about the order, and no be answered with the machine telling me to call back another time. Happened multiple times. Never ordering cakes from here again.

I shopped here this afternoon and everything seemed to be going well. Then at checkout two customers (a large man and a woman) started yelling at each other. They started fist fighting. The man grabbed the woman by the neck and started punching her with the other hand. This Walmart had no security guards. A few employees were standing there laughing and joking. Someone told them to take it outside. The woman looked visibly injured. I started calling 911 and the cashier shrugged and said not our problem. Another cashier nearby said don't bother calling, nobody is coming. My cashier then went on saying that if it was her she'd hit him back and have her family take care of him. When I walked into the parking lot, the woman that looked injured and man looked like they left. I really hope she's alright. I think I'll stick to shopping on Amazon. I don't need anything bad enough to risk safety by shopping in person.

It's just like many other Walmarts....The ones with theft problems. So high value or easily stolen items are locked up behind glass doors which prevents me from selecting products to read the back, or to compare with others.
Maybe Walmart could enclose the electronics department with only one entrance in and out, with the security sensors at that door. This would greatly reduce the area with which someone could steal things since they can't take it to another area of the store to rip it open or conceal it. Then the only electronics that could leave through that door would already be paid for in that area. This may not prevent theft completely, but setup right, and with someone who can keep an eye on the cameras in that area, and security posted by the door then the problem could be improved enough that paying customers like me can once again select and compare products without having to find an employee and having him/her stand and wait as you view items and continue to point out and explain which one you want them to grab next. I, for one, refuse to do it and won't even consider getting an item locked behind the glass. Besides, a theif can still come into the store, ask the employee to get him an item from the cabinet, and then still move around to another area of the store to steal whatever it is, so it's really more of an annoyance for paying customers than I think it is for someone there for a nefarious purpose. Another option would be to expand the use of the locking clear boxes for products. It would require more real estate for products on the shelves, but would still allow me to pick up and examine products on my own without asking for assistance.

The new layout makes little sense. It's harder to find health and beauty items. Employees are useless, store is a mess. And now you have to go all the way through the store for pet items.
