Just bought my truck from here Louie was my salesman he was very very helpful whatever did he didn’t understand didn’t know he was willing to find the answer !! Awesome customer service!! Definitely a five star service!! Also Derek in the finance department was also a super super awesome very helpful knowledgeable great customer service as well . The whole experience was a Blessing!

What a great experience I had shopping for a used car today at John Amato. Eventhough, they didn't have what I was looking for today but the sales person, Anthony Maniaci was so willing to work with me and search for what I am looking for. I came here with a friend to test drive a jeep compass. They didn’t have the specific jeep compass we wanted; however, the sales guy pressured us to test drive an inferior jeep compass and said that he could “get” us the jeep compass we wanted at a later date. We agreed to test drive. The salesman wanted us to do credit checks and paperwork that day for a car that they DIDNT have present. However, we did not want to start all the paperwork including credit checks UNLESS the specific jeep compass we wanted was present. Like normal people, we want to inspect, test drive, and view the car that we intend to lease/purchase - not just any old, random car. The salesman became irritated because we didn’t want to do this process HIS way and refused to help us check for inventory at other locations and told us that we could leave - very unprofessional. Financing or leasing a car is a BIG financial decision and we want to do it on our terms - NOT on the terms of a salesman who is more worried about making a commission. I’ve test driven many cars in my past without purchasing a car THAT same day. The salesmen from those different companies were always professional - if I didn’t purchase a car that SAME day, they simply thanked me for coming in and gave me their card. And I’ve gone back the next week or month and purchased a car from the same sales man. You win more bees with honey than vinegar.So I’ve learned a few things about John Amato Jeep - If you aren’t ready to purchase/lease a car and do all the paper work they same day you come in (EVEN if they don’t have the car you want), get ready for a frozen cold shoulder. They are more concerned about making a commission than they are about finding you the right car on YOUR terms.

DO NOT BUY from here. $4500 of my money cannot be accounted for. Then the dealer didn't mention they only had one key. One key is now $500+. The finance company they arranged I usually make even double payments and can't get ahead with a pay off that doesn't move. There is a special place in hell for these swindlers.

I pull up to the oil change doors at about 1:25pm & am waiting patiently. I have had 2 or 3 separate oil change/ tire rotations in the past because I purchased an oil change/tire rotation package of 4. Every single time except today, someone comes out to get me. After about 10 minutes another customer beeps their horn at me to tell me that they are closing. Confused because the sign on the door says that they are open until 3 o’clock, I get out of my car to walk in and ask for assistance. I was met with hostility (again) by JC who has been a complete jerk to me every single time I’ve come in. He really hates his job. After frustratingly looking at his computer, he rudely asks me if I have an appointment and then he tells me that the shop closes in 20 minutes he cannot do my oil change. I ask him how long an oil change takes. He tells me that an oil change normally takes about 30 minutes. Aggravated, I respond that I have been sitting there since 1:25 & that someone could have either come gotten my car or told me at that time that I could not be serviced so I didn’t have to sit there staring at the garage door. JC then blatantly lies to me saying that no one ever comes out to get me because he’s wayyyy too busy to do that. JC then proceeds to continue to lie to me & tell me that they only accept appointments in which I know is false because upon my first service I called & was told by the service department that they do walk-ins ONLY. I have never made an appointment in the past. JC begins to raise his voice & argue with me about what I am telling him based on my previous experiences at John Amato, I too begin to raise my voice. Trying to make me seem like the bad guy, he turns from me, walks away to the other computer, says I am not going to service you & begins to talk to the the person behind me. She also asks for an oil change. This woman did not have an appointment for an oil change, but he didn’t tell her the same lie about needing to have an appointment and he ended up taking her car in to get an oil change. I believe that this was racially motivated, and JC acted with prejudice towards me because JC is a black man, the woman whom he accepted to do an oil change for is a black woman, while I happen to be a white woman. When I see what is going on, I ask JC what his name was, & if I can speak to the manager. He ignored me, continued to talk to the other customer. As I asked for a manager, JC finally said that he was the only manager.I am writing this, because if you are a white person and you have to deal with JC, he will purposefully mistreat you and provide worse customer service to you simply because you are white. He will however, provide better service to black customers. In front of you. One could say that JC was having a bad day, however, he wasn’t “having a bad day” with the black woman that showed up behind me. He was not only able to speak to her in a professional manner, he didn’t give her an excuse about not having an appointment and was willing to squeeze her in with 10 minutes left to “closing”. He was hostile to me, a white woman, from the very beginning.I would prefer to get a refund on my remaining package because I don’t know what JC can do to my car.Summary: he addressed me in a hostile manner, he refused to service me, lied about the operations and discriminated against me all in a matter of minutes.Not only will I never come back to buy any more packages for an oil change, I will also spend more money going elsewhere & to get repairs done on my car, just so that I can be treated respectfully & a place where my business is appreciated. Above all, I will only do business where management behaves in a professional manner, acts with INTEGRITY and doesn’t discriminate against me based on my race.PS: JC didn’t even try to upsell me during my first visit to buy an oil change/tire rotation package, another customer of yours told me about it while I was waiting for my oil change. This indicates that not only is JC extremely unprofessional, he’s also lazy.
