I really cannot say enough good things about the folks at BluePearl. Our first experience was with an urgent medical concern for our dog. Their staff was courteous and thorough, and were clear about standard fees, as well as anticipated costs. The vet was excellent, taking the time to walk me through everything she thought was going on. Our second experience was working with their rehab team following our dog's injury. Dr. Luginbill and her team were amazing! The first consultation was extensive and incredibly helpful for setting the path for the therapy course. We had so many questions, and Dr. Luginbill answered every one. After each rehab session, we recieved personalized emailed instructions and videos of our dog doing the specific exercises. Cost was very reasonable given the extent of what they were doing. Our dog is recovering nicely now and I would not hesitate to return to BluePearl for future concerns.(photo included is one they sent us of her receiving a laser treatment :))

It's been a while since having our gerbil euthanized at Blue Pearl but it was such an awful experience I could not let it go without reviewing this business. And that is primarily what this vet is...a business concerned with profits before care. There is no other way to describe it based on a $220 bill for euthanasia only of our gerbil, the lack of empathy as they sent in a salesman to upsell us on the many product offerings after we had already stated euthanasia only, and the many other reviews echoing mine. Avoid if you have any other choice.

Thank you Blue Pearl Glendale team for SAVING OUR BIRD’S LIFE!!!!We have pigeons and it’s almost impossible to find vets for them. One of our birds swallowed a long thin piece of metal the other day and we scrambled to find anyone who could help. After getting countless “sorry, we can’t help” responses from so many vets we feared the worst. When we called Blue Pearl Glendale we were so relieved when they said “we can help” and were able to see her first thing in the morning. My wife took her in and the team was so kind and professional and amazingly got the foreign object removed without surgery. Thank you so much, you saved her life when no one else could help.

BluePearl was a God sent...Our sweet Milo could not have been in more Gracious hands on New Year's Eve. They provided empathy, and compassion as well as professionalism throughout a difficult, and life affecting moment.

I was a regular goer of this emergency veterinary hospital over the years, to care for unforeseen pet issues, until 12/16/2023. I had a sugar glider dying in my hands at 1 am and thought to call them as I had done a month or two prior, only to find out that their hours had changed and they were no longer 24 hours. I would have expected an email campaign to all customers in their database ahead of time? I called around and most places do not take exotics, so I ended up driving 1.5 hours round trip to euthanize my pet in the middle of the night. I think that since Blue Pearl took ownership of this, as a chain they probably don’t pay their employees enough causing a staffing shortage. Who knows. I’m just not sure I could use this place again.

Drove an hour & a half due to all of the other ER vets in my area being at capacity. Everyone there was so kind and caring. They ran my cats vitals & told me he didn't have a blockage (which is what we were concerned about) and gave me the option of A) going home and waiting until morning when my normal vet opened up to run some tests, or B) to wait a few hours until their ER vet was available to see my cat, give him a consultation ($200 off the jump), and run tests on him- but they were honest with me in saying it would cost less at my vet and honestly he'd be fine waiting because they could feel that there was no blockage. Really appreciate how honest they are instead of just saying I needed to stay to run the tests so that they could make money.

The exotics team and front desk staff are the most caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable people that I have ever met. The front desk took my concerns seriously, and I know they fought to help me get an appointment.About two months ago, Dr. Mueller saw my dying bearded dragon, Buzz, during her lunch break, making time for me and showing nothing but the upmost respect and kindness. She went out of her way to call me on her day off with results and to answer any questions. Dr. Mueller and her AMAZING staff have been readily available through every step of the process (shoutout to Stephanie and Bridget!).Two months later, I am here for a recheck and he has made almost a complete 180. They saved his life and I could never thank them enough for this.Thank you to everyone that works at BluePearl Glendale, I couldn’t be more grateful for everything you all have done to save Buzz!

Our 19 month old Great Dane was referred to your Neurologist Dr. Webb. The day before our visit, we rushed our Rica to Blue Pearl in Appleton, WI as she was stumbling and very lethargic. Because of she needed a specialist we came right in.Even though we were new clients with a referral, we were welcomed. After discussing what the plan for testing was, we realized she was in good hands. Dr. Webb and the staff were awesome and took very good care of our little girl. While we are still awaiting some test results, she is started on steroids to help her heal a little faster. Thank you for your service.

Definitely don’t go here. Money hungry is all they are. I read the reviews recently after taking our pet to the clinic and now see why everyone is saying they don’t care about your pet, they only care about the money. Not only was I given the wrong prognosis for my pet (she died, by the way, 26 hours after sitting in their lobby for almost four hours), but I was forced to pay for their medicine and an excessive amount of food they wanted to provide. They were so quick to take my money, I didn’t even have my pet by the time they wanted me to swipe my card. I even called to ask (I was very nice till the lady started talking over me and wouldn’t let me get a word in) if they could just take back the UNTOUCHED and UNOPENED stuff they gave me. All the lady kept saying was, “There could’ve been an underlying GI issue” but their vet told me our pet was fine and to bring her back in a WEEK for follow up. So, I have a dead pet now thanks to this hospital and I’m out the money they made me cough up. This veterinary clinic was much better when it was Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists. The staff back then actually cared about their clients and their pets. I will never use this as an emergency vet or vet clinic ever again and I hope people read this and avoid this vet clinic.

I will never take any of my animals back here. I brought my 11 year old chihuahua in with labored breathing and clearly barely holding on. Upon arrival she was taken from me and I was sent to sit in the waiting room. The tech came and got me and brought me back. They wouldn’t tell me anything besides that she was really not doing well and the dr would be in. When the Dr came in he immediately started listing what he wanted to do. This included blood work, hospitalization and a blood transfusion starting at 5k. He felt extremely pushy, I asked for a minute to think about my very limited options. He acted surprised that I needed a minute and asked him to step out. I asked if I could see my dog and he said someone would bring her in. 20 minutes later they came back without my dog. I told them that I felt most comfortable taking her home to let her pass with her family and that I didn’t have the 5k. He then left and I asked for him to bring my dog back in. Again, she was never brought back to me. The tech came in next to talk me into letting them do the blood transfusion. I refused, I didn’t have the money and my dog was actively dying already, I just wanted her in my arms. Nobody else was confident she would make it thru the night, even with the transfusion, and I wasn’t going to hospitalize her and let her die there. The tech left and came back. AGAIN WITHOUT MY DOG. She sat down explained the dr was in a procedure and asked what I would feel comfortable with letting them do and tried to talk me into the transfusion again. I said I want to go home and take my dog. Her response was well you do know she’s probably going to die tonight. I said I understood and would like my dog back and to go home. She said okay and told me to head up front to pay. Finally after paying my dog was brought up to me. We brought her home and ultimately passed in our arms comfortably at home. After she passed I realized the blue pearl vet never told me what to do after she passes. I spend $200 for no advice and to be felt bad about my choices. I ended up calling entirely different ER and they explained my options.

I called Glendale vet we to see if they could euthanize my cat. She has feline leukemia and was throwing up blood. She can’t even walk. My father who was a vet tech told me that putting her to sleep was my best option to make her suffering stop. I hated that. But my dads very knowledgeable. So when I called and let them know I only had 70$ to spend to help her (the last of my money) they told me I’d have to have 191$ to pay for there consultation then an additional fee for euthanization as a last resort. They’d rather let Sweetie suffer through the equivalent of chemo and also possibly infect my other cat. When I told her that I couldn’t afford this she hung up on me instead of being caring and understanding and potentially giving solutions. Made my bad night even worse.

They are money first and you and your Pet second. Pet came home with nasty bruises on both arms from IV misses, staff talked down to me the whole time. I only came here because my normal vet/urgent care vet turned me away. I'll NEVER be back to Blue Pearl. I genuinely question the staffs handling of my animal, as coming here was the only time he has EVER been problematic at a vet office.

? I ended up going to the blue pearl hospital in Glendale emergency room 24hr for animals. They were so compassionate, caring, patient and understanding with my very difficult situation. My baby 'Jewels' was having seizures at home every time she calmed down or tryed to rest it happened again. The receptionist on the phone was very patient with me and helped me through it, though I was crying and hard to understand. Before I even left my home to go to the hospital she calmed me down. As me and my daughter arrived, I still was greeted with the loving.Calm, patient care coming through the door. I was hysterical, I couldn't stop crying. They managed to still still be calm, handled me and my daughter with care. The receptionist was amazing she was so nice the doctor was amazing as well. Mind you this was at 10pm. I ended up having to give euthanasia as the seizures continued and got worse. She is getting cremation and we're putting her in the sanctuary garden at the hospital. No matter how much u try to mentally prepare for these things, you never know when it can happen. It is never easy and never can be ready ? My dog is my family not just a pet and they understood that. I know she's in a better place now no more pain for my babygirl. She kept fighting it, I kept her going for as long as i could.❤️ Thank you much for your help. Thank you so much to the staff and doctors at Blue Pearl Hospital ❤️ I don't know what I would've did without your care ? Can't thank you enough? Your care meant more than you know ?You guys are the BEST.
