Bought three gold fish for my son's new fist tank. It was his first pet. We had a positive experience. They have a good variety of fresh and saltwater fish.

You know im all about supporting tf out of smaller non-corporate pet stores but the fact that the small animal habitats looked like a secondary thought really got under my skin a bit. Maybe im being presumptuous and the cages were being cleaned, but none of them had anything in the tanks at all except a water bottle and like 2 of the hamster cages had wheels. They all really should at least have a little plastic house or hidey hole and a wheel to run on. They were all balled up in corners of the tanks, which is usually a bad sign. I also noticed that none of the reptiles they had, had UVB lighting, which is important for all reptiles even when it isnt “mandatory”. The heat lamps were also a bit small for the tank size. These arent really nitpicky criticisms …i hold non corporate pet stores to a higher standard when it comes to animal care because the employees dont really have any red tape keeping them from properly caring for the animals. Also, for some reason Google said that they were a reptile shop, and as the name implies its more of a fish shop. (Not their fault, google needs to get a clue. Their suggestions are always wrong.) so if youre looking for fish stuff this is probably a great place to go. They have reptile stuff just not a lot.Ive also noticed that the owner is pretty rude to people who give negative reviews, so im sure ill get an eye roll when they see this, but even though youre a temporary spot for animals, you can at least give them stuff in their tanks. I understand the small tank size but it just looked sad …

I got my bunny hear in April. After only 4 months we learned that he was very ill when we got him and we had to put him down. Adopt a bunny is the way to go so they are already neuter/spayed and with shots! :(

We searched everywhere and no one around us sold rabbits but then we found Marineland. We called and talk to a wonderful nice lady on the phone who let us know she had some rabbits. We made the drive and my son found the perfect guy for him. The same lady we talked to on the phone was there and she was so helpful. She spoke to my son directly on how to make sure the bunny got the care he needs and even supplied us with other sites for him to look at for more information on his care. So happy we found Marineland pets and so is my son and Fuzzy!

A variety of common freshwater fish and invertebrates, reptiles, parakeets, hampsters, and bunnies are for sale. Anything you'd need for a setup is sold here. And don't forget Pebbles! The large tortoise is the store pet, whom you'll find roaming freely amongst the tanks and customers. She is often seen chewing on her hay and is my and my son's favorite. She loves carrots too! Great local-owned pet store right next door to Bayshore.

Always pleasant staff to work with and they always have what I need. The only complaint I would have is the (assumed) owner is rude, never acknowledges customers, and treats employees poorly even in front of customers. It's the one decent shop in the area for my needs though, so I continue to go.
