Everyone on staff was so kind and extremely helpful- from checking in to being taken to my car. The entire team of doctors and anesthesiologists explained exactly what would happen in terms that were easy to understand. They answered my questions without judgement.

I sent my daughter to ER due to her finger infection, waited and waited, they give X-ray, which is not necessary, and then poke the infection part, get cultured, prescript antibiotic and told me they will call us when result come out. We used the antibiotic for a week, however, my daughter never get better, it even get worse, and they never call us about my daughter's result. A week later,I ask ER's doctor gave me the result, they told me that they can't give it to me, I have to get it from her primary doctor, who is not work in Aurora, the primary doctor told me that she can't get result, only be able to see the pictures and samples.

Cancer care at Grafton and Milwaukee-Good Hope are amazing! The doctors and nurses really care about you as a person and not just another patient. They made a terribly scary and stressful time manageable. I cannot say thank you enough to those teams of doctors, nurses and volunteers.Highly recommended!!

Dr. Wichman and his team have been incredible to work with! My knee was a tricky case as I had been in a high amount of pain for months and imaging didn't show much. I had seen other orthopedic doctors and physical therapists and was really struggling. His team took the time to listen to my case history, my physical therapist reports, and my quality of life. They reassured me that they could help. There was a surgical solution that fixed the problem! I can now walk again and I am so grateful. I can't say enough about this team and I highly recommend. Thank you for what you do!

I cannot say enough good and positive things about this hospital. My sister arrived by ambulance after a fall in a sub acute rehab facility after 3 strokes. The nurse Brittney in the ER set the pace from the onset. The female ER doctor ( I was so overwhelmed I didn't get her name) was amazing. They both were so kind and caring and professional. They listened to us and addressed the neglect and abuse my sister was given at the rehabilitation center. After admission she was transferred to the 3rd floor where she once again was treated with respect and caring and compassion. The nurses Danielle Holly and Sue were beyond fabulous and the CNAs Kenzie and especially Kanicka went above and beyond to set her at ease and calm her fears after such a terrible experience. You are all truly angels of mercy, a credit to your trade and the Aurora family. I also need to mention all of the fabulous volunteers that were so very kind and helpful especially Audrey. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. For anyone having negative comments or concerns I would suggest that you visit Froetdert in Milwaukee and then you will truly have something to complain about. My sister was in that system for 8 weeks and it was nothing short of a nightmare. Aurora Grafton should be an ambassador and training facility in how to care for and treat patients! Thank you all so very much ❤️

My mother was recently a patient in Grafton following a heart attack and emergency catherization; let me first say that the interventional cardiologist was the one bright spot during her stay. She was transferred from the ICU to the 2nd floor med/surg unit. The first nurse was very confused with the transfer and at one point my mom said, I don’t trust him. During her stay she was transitioned to inpatient hospice; the social worker was unaware if the hospital had a contract with Aurora at home for inpatient hospice, but eventually she was admitted. I stayed at the hospital for three nights. Staff never offered to clean my mom up, I had to ask on day four, just before she passed. During the last 24 hours of her life it was my goal to make sure she was peaceful and did not suffer. During the night she began with a wet cough and was saying “breathe”. I ask the nurse about meds to help dry up secretions and was told, “that medication doesn’t usually help”. The med was ordered and she eventually gave it. The nurse was very reluctant to give any additional medication but when I persisted she did give an extra dose of morphine. I asked about Ativan and was told that was only “if she was kicking and yelling”.The day nurse then came on and my mom started saying”help me, help me”. I called the nurse and was told “when she is saying help me that does not mean she is in pain.”I replied that no one should be saying help me, as they are dying. I asked for increase in morphine and I was told, “ it will make her blood pressure go down”. I began to cry….. this was not ok, she was actively dying. I contacted hospice and they were able to speak to the nurse and make sure my mom was comfortable. I have never written a review, for anything. While my mom passed peacefully with family by her side, not everyone has someone to advocate for them. Very basic nursing care was not provided at end of life and that breaks my heart. Please do better, provide education, everyone deserves a good ending.

At my recent visit to the Grafton ER my nurse was Kaylee Popp. During the visit she exhibited horrible bedside manner. She tried to make me feel like I was making up my problem that brought me to the ER. Further, when she left the room I could hear her talking about me to staff. It was mortifying to hear her, knowing that if I could hear her so could other patients in the ER. She did not conduct herself well with me and I feel that she needs to be held accountable. I have seen Kaylee before but not in a professional setting, so I am certain she knew who I was but she totally acted as if she didn’t know me at all. Kaylees service was so bad that I did fill out a patient survey expressing my dissatisfaction. I want to make it clear that all other aspects of my visits was satisfactory. I will let billing know these concerns and ethicspoint hotline. I will NOT be coming back here!

I had a very positive experience at the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton for my heart procedure. The exceptional care provided by the dedicated doctors and nurses, along with the immaculate facility, truly made a difference. Dr. Hani's expertise as a surgeon, combined with his compassionate nature, speaks volumes about his commitment to his patients' well-being. The ease I felt before the surgery, and after for my recovery, is a testament to their outstanding work and professionalism.

One star is a lot for this review.I’ve had many encounters with this hospital.Quite frankly, it is disgusting. The carpeted floors are stained horribly, especially the ER. I’m not quite sure why it is carpeted there in the first place. If you’re in the ER, all you hear is everyone laughing and making gossip in the nurses station.Almost everyone is extremely rude in the ER Dept (with the exception of the front desk and a small handful of others. (Dr. Boyer is the best)).You can often wait hours on end to hear anything from anybody. I understand it is busy but the amount of time you for anything is crazy.I had a really good experience with my gallbladder surgery. I was in and out before I knew it and didn’t even feel like I had surgery. So that was 5 stars.I think the ER is the main problem. I haven’t had much experience with other departments besides the outpatient surgery.I definitely don’t recommend the hospital for the emergency Dept.

The worst hospital! So much neglectful things happen to my uncle/grandpa here. They are not helping. And continued to get worst. Never listened to our comments and what has happened at home. They have done everything possible to fill their pockets! Tried to transfer him to another hospital and they have failed incredibly to help with that. Please I beg everyone DO NOT BRING your loved one here. They do not care for your well being.
