I chose this hotel for its location - super convenient to my brother's house in Grafton. However, that's where the joy ends.I had seen reviews about the dated interior: they're true (but not a deal breaker). The room was not as clean as I would have liked, but I didn't see mold as some reviews noted. What absolutely did me in was when I returned to the hotel and stepped off the elevator on Christmas night, I was knocked over by strong cooking smells. STRONG smells. These smells leaked into my room, into my clothes. The gentleman at the front desk offered to move me to another room, but the smells had already sunk in. My suitcase already stank, so a new room would not fix it. I left.Unfortunately, neither the hotel or Expedia has been able to refund my last night's stay. I won't be back.Do not be lured by the lower price - stay across the street!

When I pulled back the fitted sheets & "mattress cover", I knew I was in for a rough stay. I had no choice. I was there to support my disabled adult daughter the next morning for an important appointment. The hairs & yellow stains on the mattress were enough to make your mind wonder for days what you actually slept on & if you were bringing any critters home with you. The breakfast the next morning was a microwave nightmare. It's not worth it. Go ten minutes south to Mequon.

Old and low quality. Bed was a creaky spring mattress with sheets that felt like netting. The comforter had blood stains on it. Pillows felt like a bag of rolled up socks. The entire hotel smells like chlorine, including the room.

Was very disappointed with our stay. The bed was fine and i did like the fact that they had a range of pillows to choose from. But thats about it. It's an older hotel tha could use a bit of maintenance overall. It han a nice tv but the satellite it was connected to kept saying that it had a weak signal, probably bue to weather. But we had clear skies. They had the hot water turned down to luke warm. There is no way you could take a shower. I tried it several times in the evening and morning. Let it run for several minutes and it never warmed up. Evethe toilet paper was the cheapest stuff you could by. Got to breakfast early and i think the sausage was from yesterday, they were dried out and hard as a rock. Definitely not worth the money.

The outside is deceptive as the hotel looks newer and stylish. However, inside it's dated and rather shabby. The pool makes the whole hotel smell damp. Beds were comfortable and clean. Shower worked great and plenty of hot water with good pressure.

An adequate place to stay, but be warned, see below. Much cheaper option than Mequon. Bed was comfortably firm. Accessible bathroom was large enough, although, floor space in the room less so. Breakfast was standard. Now the bad. The shower is so much higher than the floor outside that both my wife and I fell, with bruising on my wife. That is NOT ACCEPTABLE, and certainly cannot be up to code. For that reason we will go elsewhere. Ceiling is also thin and on our second night, it sounded like we were sharing a room. Thank you noise machine.

Had a pleasant experience checking in. This hotel has the basics. Rooms were fairly clean, and the staff was friendly. Not bad for a budget hotel.Rooms: After reading the reviews I was scared. My room was clean and tidy! Don't come here expecting four seasons.

We have stayed here for many years when visiting family, and this is the first time that we have had a bad experience. The room was gross. It needed a deep cleaning. My white socks were gross at the bottom after walking in our room, the sink & bathroom were dirty, and there was a blood-stained towel with the "clean" towels. We will not be staying here again.

I normally am not one to complain but we stay at this Comfort Inn and Suites about once a year, normally we have a good experience but this time we did not.We checked in on 9/2 and went up to our room 411 a King Suite and upon opening the door was a big rush of stale cigarette smoke. As we were settling in we noticed the room looked like it had been properly cleaned, the toilet was full of cigarette ashes, there was hair in the shower, one towel on the towel rack, one hand towel and one washcloth which leaves me to believe the bathroom had not been cleaned at all. I called the front desk and someone came up and cleaned the toilet but left the rest. Luckily as a mother of a 1 year old we had sanitizing wipes and disinfectant with us bit I should NOT have to clean while trying to get away, that's the beauty of staying in a hotel. The mirrors were smudged with finger prints and the floors were dirty, my one years old feet were extremely dirty during our whole stay. I'm disgusted. The shower water was mildly warm, not hot at all and the water pressure was terrible which is just what it is, coffee pot didn't work and the toilet was clogged our whole stay so bad that we had to go across the hall to the housekeeping to get a plunger that stayed in the bath room our whole stay. That wouldn't deter me from staying there again, but the customer service and filth of the hotel will.Breakfast was good, lots of options. The older front desk lady with the black hair casually used profanity like it was appropriate to do so, she said the system was working for Sh** today multiple times during check in. I don't think that appropriate when working in customer service.I expected a partial refund or discount but didnt receive either.

The location is good, and customer service is okay, but the room I had was gross. Just gross. As a hotel they should be kept wayyyyy cleaner than what I saw. Just take a look, yes that be mold on the curtains, and chair was gross, the bed was also dirty. I'm with 3 other people and there rooms were all the same.

This location is easy to access off the highway. With all the construction though isn’t the greatest. Hotel 3rd floor is very musty. They definitely have a mold problem. Left feeling very sick. Switched rooms after the third night. Not too much better. The staff were aware there was a must problem. First night woke up and anything touching the floor was damp. The floor had a dampness all around. Pounding headache, sore throat, and runny nose. Go for vacation and leave sick. Love to see it.Rooms: Great if you love an infesting mold problem.Safety: Not the most secure location.

Got in the room and there is a wet/dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door.Toilet seat and toilet had black mold on it.Pool area was unclean and the hot tube looked like it had algae growing on the entire drain.Where is the corporate inspector when you need them.

Our week long stay was a mixture of positive and negative issues. The hotel appears, to the casual observer, to be a near new facility, in a positive state of repair. During check-in, the customer service “cracks” began to show. “Pat” was the clerk on duty. She knew her job but her attitude and demeanor were very sub-par. She whined and complained about everything. She explicitly said she was “old and cranky” (those were her exact words). She did not like the policies, procedures, or just about everything she spoke about. Instead of getting a warm welcome, we were treated to complaint after complaint. In my opinion, she had no business in a job dealing with customers.Upon reaching our 3rd floor room things seemed better. The room was well stocked, and had a comfortable bed, and good sheets. There were no holes in the wall and everything seemed good. I heavily use technology so the abundance of power outlets, and multiple USB power ports was a real plus. When I tried to connect to the free Wi-Fi the problems began. The connection would connect, disconnect, and reconnect continuously. This was not a one-time thing, but it was the way things were for our whole stay. In essence, there was no usable Wi-Fi at all. I had to use my cell phone as a mobile hot-spot to get Internet access. For me, this was a BIG problem!Unlike many hotels in the post-COVID world, this one had housekeeping service EVERY day, without me having to ask for it. The housekeeping service given by Rashmi was great, a big positive! The lady who operated the free breakfast (name?) also was a hard worker and very helpful. The breakfast was good but did not change menu from day to day. When I went to the 3rd floor ice machine it was out of service (it appears to have been this way for an extended period). Also, the 1st floor bathroom was out of service for the duration of our stay, as was the phone in the 2nd floor laundry room. The washer and drier worked well but were not a free amenity.A three-star review shows the average hotel. Unfortunately, when I weigh the positives and negatives of our stay this hotel drops below the average. If you do not depend on Internet access as acutely as I do, you may well find a stay here acceptable.

They let someone steal my clothes from the dryer in the provided laundry room. Didn’t call the police and said “Their not responsible.” So if you like your stuff stolen stay here. I caught the person who did it, but I have to cancel MY reservations and find a new hotel. They wouldn’t even let me park my motorcycle under the awning during a severe storm.Safety: They’ll let these thieve today steal your stuff.
