This HD location never has the items I am looking for. its always a order situation. Now they took away the pro-covered parking/loading. I will not go there anymore. I am becoming a Menards fan more and more.

Just at the Home Depot in Grafton, all I needed was a large roll of shrink film. They were pulling stuff down (at 8:40 in the morning of course) they were done, but because there were pallets in the isle the worker would not let me grab the roll, or grab it for me. Then he rudely said I have to wait until they move all of the pallets , safety first even though they were not moving anything and the item I needed was 6 feet away! That’s it I’m done, Amazon or a different hardware store for now on!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone shop at the Home Depot!

Home Depot FAIL! Waited all day for Kohler tub delivery. Left the house for dinner at 630pm returning at 900pm to find my new Kohler $1200 tub standing in my front yard. Why did I supply shipping comments (deliver to garage in alley at rear of house) and why did I supply my phone number for the purposes of delivery problems? You have to do better!

They're a little slow but their contractors did a great job. Front door and garage door.

We had a terrible experience ordering four glass front beverage that came in damaged and it took us over two hours to essentially not accept these four units. I can't tell you how frustrating this is, replacements would be on back order - but we are not even going to darken the door of this establishment again.

Great store! The employees were very helpful and we really enjoyed our dry erase board class that they offered tonight.

I bought a washer and dryer from Home Depot. While the customer service in the store was excellent, the delivery experience was terrible. The day before the delivery, the delivery company calls you with a 4 hour window, so I ended up having to take a full day off of work, since I didn't know when they would be arriving until the evening before.

We went through Home Depot to do our flooring because of the carpet sale but whatever we saved in $ was not worth the absolute mess that we ended up with! From getting the product to scheduling installers (and actually getting them to do the work) was a study in lack of communication!! The product is fine, but the installation was terrible and we ended up waiting and rescheduling and then waiting some more!!!! I will not be using them for any services in the future!!

Bought carpeting a couple years ago that started lifting. It took almost 6 months to get through to have someone come out and just look at the carpet. Then another 2 months for them to come install it. The installers were very polite, however we were told they will not gaurantee the job because the carpet is too thin to use the proper amount of glue for it to stick fully without ruining the carpet. Nobody ever told us this when we were in communications with them so we could maybe order a different kind of carpet that would work. We had to move all of our furniture ourselves and they can't say it won't happen again!

The service at this Home Depot is stellar. Every time I visit, in the midst of my wanderings through the store, multiple friendly employees ask if I'm finding everything I need, ask if they can help, or at least smile and say hello. When I've actually needed help, they'll stop and help me find what I need or solve my problem. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks work here. The outdoor garden area has improved in selection and in care of their plants, so I've managed to find some good landscape plants here. The vegetable garden section is good as well, though sometimes lacking in variety. Plenty of help loading heavy stuff outdoors, you might have to wait for someone, but they'll do it. One thing I love about this store is that it's well organized, which makes it easier to find things I need. I've visited a few other HDs lately & they made this one look even better. They may have less inventory than some other stores, but at least it's clean & well-displayed. Only grandpa really knows what's in his garage & where to find it, right? The rest of us young'uns have to ask.

Really bad. I tried to buy their best zero turn mower and they knew literally not one thing about it. 3 associates. Then I wanted the 3 year warranty but they had no idea what it did for me. Out of brochures for it. I was dumbfounded and had to leave, go to equipment garage in cedarburg, at least they know what's going on. I talked to them on the phone while there. 2 days later I needed this hose pot and the barcode was scratched, they could not find a way to sell it to me again. I can't even find the words

We recently purchased a washer and dryer from Home Depot. We completed the sale and assigned the delivery date of 4-06-17. On the night before delivery (at 9:00pm), Home Depot called to say there was a mistake with the delivery date (it was cancelled and that we needed to rebook for 4-13-17). After some back and forth with the salesperson we were told to call back on 4-06-17 and speak to a Store Manager if we weren't satisfied. We did. The manager told us that she would call

As a home owner, and just a guy... I should love this store. I do not. First, the registers are on the opposite end of the store as the entrance. Presumably an adult decided that was a good idea. ? So the solution is grab a cart by the exit, from the corral or by the door there is always one - and park there too, then walk in right under the exit sign. I'm not so lazy that I can't stand the walk, it's just a principal thing now. Next tip, if you ever use your debit card to pay for things and then need to return it - get store credit or insist on cash. Somehow, my refund of just over 20$ never made it to my bank. And of course their copy of the receipt is in Indiana now for some reason... Long story short, HD says banks fault, bank says never got it... 2 years later, still no 20$. I stopped calling cause they would just put me on hold and just let me sit there. Speaking of just sitting there - NEVER sign up for one of their classes. My wife and I signed up for one this last weekend. After they emailed me SIX times saying be prompt at 10:00 we arrived 5 minutes early. Good luck finding anyone that knows anything about this "workshop" that works there. Apparently "Dave" was supposed to work with us that day. We chatted with many people that were not Dave while waiting in the patio furniture area. Super fun... Super waste of an hour, because shocker, Dave never shows and people say he's over there- over here- doing this, doing that. Sigh. Thanks for wasting my Saturday morning Dave. Yes, I know it's a free class. A poke in the eye is free too - I didn't sign up for that. Lastly, if you ever need to order anything online and pickup in the store, prepare yourself for one pleasant experience. Especially if you like free pokes in the eye. I'm not Fabio or Prince Charming, but I think I'm easy to talk too and try to at least engage people with a hello or head nod. Not these service desk people. Yikes! I'd pay an extra dollar for a class that actually comes together before we leave after an hour of waiting... as well as I'd pay an extra nickel for a smile from the service desk people. Cmon. Seriously, I challenge anyone to even walk by that desk and see if you get a hello, a head nod, a smile - or heck, I'll settle for anything other than a scowl. Its not just me either, they scowl at little old ladies too. Too busy complaining about hours to each other, or what SuzyQ did wrong. Side note: The only thing worse than over priced PVC is paying A DOLLAR per cut! A dollar!!! Really? The damn pipe is 4$! What a shame, or dare I say sham. I thought the guy was kidding- nope. Here's your slip saying you owe an extra 3$ to cut down a stupidly long pipe into sizes that will fit a normal man's sedan. Sigh. If you know what you're looking for, it's fine - maybe. But if you need to interact with most of these people, you will leave frustrated and just generally disappointed. The wood guys are usually nice and the lady in lighting that knows A LOT about lights and is genuinely nice to talk with - I'm ashamed I forgot her name - she's there a lot and is a huge asset to that company. She was/is an electrician and it shows. If it wasn't right down the road from where I work, I'd probably never go there. Menards is generally cheaper, people are happy there, and their products are often of equal quality. Lowes has way better financing options and hardware. The last two things are mainly facts, the rest is all my opinion. But just think about this, I'm upset enough to find ways to complain about a hardware store. I am a man. I should love tools and tile, and lightbulbs. This place has found a way to ruin those things for me. Location and the "lighting lady" are the only two reasons to ever set foot in this store. Period.

Good location and usual home depot. Only complain is that their checkout registers are sooo far away from the entrance. They make you walk the entire length of the store to just checkout a simple item you would get near the entrance..
