So unbelievably RUDE! That so-called manager on the closing shift acted like the queen of disrespect, straight up stomping on my sister’s feelings like they were trash on the floor! I came in for a simple wax ring — nothing complicated — and when I asked an employee, he looked me dead in the eye and goes, “What’s that?” EXCUSE ME?! Who on this planet works in a store and doesn’t even know what a wax ring is?! Are you kidding me?! I wasted FIFTEEN MINUTES wandering around like a lost fool, only to leave with nothing but a lighter and lighter fluid — because guess what? I’m going to BURN my membership card to ashes. That’s how done I am! Absolutely disgraceful. Shameful. Horrendous.

I’m a contractor who has spent a lot of money at this store, but I’ve never felt so unwelcome. I came in at 7:30, not realizing they closed at 8:00 on Sundays (I thought it was 10:00 as usual). By 8:20, instead of anyone politely letting me know the store was closed, the manager Judy was sending employees to follow me around the aisles and stare me down. Finally, some teenager grew a pair and asked me if I knew the store was closed. I apologized profusely and headed up to the front.
When I left the manager unlocked the door without a word, stood watching me, and ignored my apology along with the cashier. I had even spoken to the same woman, Judy, about a rebate when I walked in, and she never once mentioned they were closing soon. They continued to stare me down until I drove out of the parking lot.
I have a commercial account here and also one at Lowe’s. Today Judy made it clear that my money spends better at the Lowe's, where employees treat me with kindness and respect regardless of if I'm flashing who I am. This experience made me really appreciate the exceptional customer service that I get from Morgan and her team at the Lowe's on Van Roy Road.

Had a terrible experience with a person at the yard gate, made a purchase on line and after pickup leaving the yard he would not accept the download receipt even after showing him the E-Mail Had to walk to the service desk and get them to print the exact same thing. Never before had this this happened before at any store …

We will never shop at Menards again! They charged a 25% restocking fee for an item returned, that was on display in the store, they did not have in stock, so we had to order online.
In addition, this whole bathroom remodel was so stressful because of the Menards customer service, delays in shipping, and damaged product. It didn't seem like they cared at all about our experience with them.

Purchased lumber online that was currently in stock, arrived at the store later that week to pick up order and lumber had been purchased by another customer. Apparently when purchasing materials online the order is not set aside for customer and I ended up waiting 3 weeks for next shipment to come in
