I needed to stop at the store on a Sunday, I checked the make sure the store was open, which it said it was online. My mistake trying to get into the parking lot on a packer game day. They prioritize parking for people that are attending the game. Good for them, I guess. I ended up driving across town to Home Depot. I was extremely disappointed that I had to drive so far out of my way.

We just moved here and have used Ace Hardware in our previous location. Just like our previous store, we were assisted right away to find items we needed. Thanks for your friendly service.

Poor service. Went to help hub & guy made it clear he had no interest in putting himself out to try & help anyone. Should be working in a warehouse somewhere.

Outstanding customer service from each and every employee I encountered as I browsed the entire store. When they didn't have what I was looking for on the shelf, they offered to order it and when it would be in. Store very organized, clean, reasonably priced. Most genuine feeling customer service I have encountered, not the "canned" speel required by corporate.

They are always around to help you, if you want help. They don't hound you the moment you get in the door like the old owners of this Ace hardware did. I really appreciate that.

Usually a good experience and very helpful but on this occasion the customer service was very disappointing.I walked in 5mins before closing(didn’t know hours were short day before holiday). I was asked if I needed help and I said no i knew what I needed just needed to size it together.The associate responded with “well you will have to make it quick we close in 3mins.” This really put me off and I thought about leaving at that point but I knew where everything was I needed and I like to shop and support local when I can.While almost done shopping in the one aisle that had all my parts, the same gentleman came back and offered help again except this time finishing with “as we are now closed.” Mind you it is 1 minute after the store closed. I answered with “no I don’t need help as I had found everything however I will take my business elsewhere following the lack of respect and customer service displayed.”After putting the items back I come around the corner to have him and two other employees having a cackle about the situation.While I understand it is a day before holiday and you were closing early(which I admit I didn’t know until I walked in; I should have trusted my gut to turn around and walk out). To rush and speak to your guests like that can and did cost you business as I promptly put my items back after the second comment and took my business to another store and purchased what I needed nearly totaling $100. I wish I would have got the gentleman’s name but I didnt.I have worked in retail and the hospitality industry for over 15years and while yes frustrating when a guest walks in near closing; there are much better ways to convey the message while still allowing the guest to shop and not interfere with the closing of the business. Heaven forbid I shop till 5mins after closing and purchase $100 worth of items to help pay for this rude associates time of 5mins past closing.
