I went to ER on 6 dec 2023 I noticed that the billing statement attributes the services to a physician, whereas I was seen by a physician assistant. Upon reviewing my summary notes, I observed that neither the nurses nor the physician assistant conducted a physical examination during my visit. None of the mentioned areas, such as ears, mouth, neck, skin, or mouth, were examined. So I texted this on their LiveWell app. It has been more than 10 days, and unfortunately, I have not received a response. I sincerely hope we can address these concerns promptly to ensure transparency and maintain the high regard I hold for the medical professionals at Aurora Bay Care.

After suffering a very scary cardiac event in my small northern town and being told I was going to be transferred and was waiting for a bed in Marquette Michigan, 2 and a half hours north. After 12 hours I was transferred an hour south to Bay Area Medical Center. From the minute I got there I knew I was in good hands. Tyler and Alex were the first nurse and aide I had, both put me at ease and I knew I was where I needed to be. EVERYONE, down to the Aides, housekeeping, and even Dietary were wonderful. I needed a heart catheterization and was very scared, but Dr. Shaikh walked into my room and I was instantly at ease. The nurses and technicians explained everything in such detail that my only fear was that they would find a blockage, which no one wants. I'm not out of the woods yet but am very thankful for everybody at Bay Area Medical Center in Green Bay. I can't remember everybody's name, but every one of them were warm, friendly and welcoming making it the best hospital stay I've ever had. The jewel in it all was Iris❤️, who was so sweet I almost didn't want to leave and my morning nurse who made sure I understood the many medications I was now on. I can't thank them all enough and highly recommend Bay Area Medical Center Green Bay.

My wife was scheduled to have surgery. During the pre-op call, no one told her that she had to be on a clear liquid diet for 24 hours before the surgery. We both both used vacation time. When we got there, the anesthesiologist refused to do the anesthesia. There also seems to be a lot of confusion in their pre-op department. No communication between the anesthesia and surgeon. Just an awful experience.

A week ago we came to Aurora health care about my daughter eye problem. It ended up being a sty. We were told that if it didn't go away to come back. Today when we came back for the second visit we got Dr. Jon k Carlson. He walked in looked at my daughter eye and laughed a little and said what are we really in there for. I have said we were in a week ago and was told that if it didn't get better to come back in. He laughed and said it's an easy fix how do I not know as a mother. After explaining myself that this is the first I had to deal with something like this and could use some help from a doctor. He said I don't need to see no one and it will just go away on its own. Walked out and Shake his head and giggled and said that was an easy appointment. I don't know if he was having a bad morning or if it was an easy fix and I just didn't know what to do. But as a Dr. I believe that it's your job to walk a new parent through things that you might think is easy but I might not. I felt useless when I walked out with my daughter and had to go somewhere else to get her eye checked.

Here with my 78 year old mother who got a new knee today. Surgery was moved up in the day. Arrived at 7:45 AM for 10:45 surgery. Surgery was then a half hour late. Surgery went well, but she did not pass the PT to go home. And here we are back in the surgery prep room waiting for a room for her to stay the night and it is now 7:18 PM. This seems cruel as she tries to rest in a chair. Update: First I was told we were waiting on shift change. Now I am told they have to call in additional staff and they are cleaning the room. Anticipate an 8:30 room availability. Unimpressive to say the least.

I highly recommend Aurora BayCare. I had the best experience having eye surgery by Dr Wang. He is so competent, kind, caring and personable. He takes his time explaining the surgery and makes sure you have all your questions and concerns answered. The team of professionals at Aurora BayCare are beyond amazing. I felt so safe, secure and so well cared for. They get an A+ rating from me!

ER staff was wonder and staff overall was great. facility was clean, rooms were clean, food was edible. Nursing staff was on the ball and communicating, compared to other local hospitals the staffing seemed great. I cant give it a 5 due to the fact that our patient should not have been discharged when they were. Without going into many details, The Dr at the time did not examine the patient on discharge day, there was confusion between records and what occurred and records we are now reading were not correct with some occurrences. Our take, they want you out, if they admit you, within 2 days. This seems to be more of an insurance issue and the fact this hospital is for profit. I would say this, the nursing staff is fantastic, caring and great, the Dr was not the best, the feeling was, they thought it was time to go, so no matter what, its time to go. If only the patient had stayed for a day or two more, the regression would not have occurred. Thus if we come back, we would make sure we are looking at notes in the chart and being proactive before we needed to be reactive. I have the instinct this place is about the profit and what is profitable.

My daughter who is an ER nurse brought me there assuming I had a stroke in which I did. They were very professional. Had to stay 24 hours but it was good to make sure and do testing. Drs and staff were very knowledgeable and actually came and explained things to us in a way we understood. Still trying to find the cause since I’m in great health. I am doing well and recovering well. On my daily walks again. Praise God for the good care! Thank you Aurora Team!

My experience at Aurora BayCare was excellent. It started with the pre-op nurse that called me. She was so pleasant with a sense of humor yet very professional. The receptionist was very sweet. My doctor, the anesthesiologist and his assistant were very nice and explained everything. The one chatted with my husband about deer, cougars and wolves and that eased him. The doctor explained everything as planned, asked if I had any questions etc. All the nurses were so nice right up to the discharge nurse. I expressed my gratitude and she said she would share it with the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend this facility. Thank you all for a great experience. Lois

Molly Linzmeier from the breast clinic is so amazing. She helped ease my mind during a procedure that I had to get done. She even took time out of her day to come to the procedure and sit beside me for comfort. She is amazing and deserves to be recognized for being a great provider and caring for her patients. My Mom told me she really helped ease her mind as well and she appreciates her work. There is not enough providers like her anymore, and I greatly appreciate her.

Everyone right from the check in process, to surgery prep, to surgery and recovery did a great job. I developed a lot of pain after surgery and everyone did their best to help me out till the pain subsided. A very clean modern facility that is staffed by professional caring people!!

The ER staff was good. They helped in a stressful situation. After that, the whole experience went sharply downhill. The floor nurses and doctors were rude, sarcastic, and dismissive. They never looked at my chart and constantly made biased and discriminatory snide remarks. The floor nurse Tatiyana was the worst of them. Train your staff and provide actual care. What you have now is unprofessional and embarrassing for you. Do better.

I was supposed to have surgery today on October 3rd under urology. The doctor is top notch that I see. However, there are areas where the quality of care could be improved. I had labs drawn and an EKG done but my labs came back abnormal meaning my potassium was low and I was not told this until I seen the surgeon. They knew about this after 1:00 and I was left on the lurch meaning I was left without knowing until he seen me. The office experience and the experience with nurses could be a lot better. Aurora has gone downhill since covet. I say this because I am a patient of Aurora bellen and also prevail. However, bellin and prevail are not like this. However, Aurora has a lot to work on. One of the biggest ones is patient communication with the nurse when it comes to something like this or surgery has to be rescheduled. I could have been told after 1:00 or while he was still in surgery after 2:00. There is no excuse for this whatsoever. The fact I was left on the lurch and hanging out to dry so to speak is inexcusable and unacceptable and plain crap. If you are going to do that, you should not be in business. I love the doctor but the nurses and anesthesiology team have a lot to work on when it comes to communication with the patients.
