Surrounding land owners are not conducive of recreation, I'd find something else..

Pretty neat place for those who don't mind no trails. There's a little beginner trail but it disappears not too far in. It says you can hunt and fish here there's a class I trout stream that flows through portions of the property. Yet I did see some signs on trees saying no hunting and fishing, not sure if these are relics of a previous owner, a disgruntled landowner adjacent or someone just messing around. Either way I saw no presence of any sizable fish, deepest hole I saw was maybe a foot deep. Beyond that it's neat, peacfull, and fairly open with no underbrush specially on the bluffs.

Mile down and a mile back. A narrow slice of land next to the highway 57 with many rock ledges and crevasses

It's a biutiful please I had fun with my family in this hunting season but I had some problems and I am afraid that I will not hunt there next year. Private land owners are giving problems to hunters in public land.

The park was nice with beautiful wild flowers, lots of variety like the beach on lake MI. and the woods with trails but the visitor center was closed by 4 on a Saturday and there was a vending machine but it didn't work! Thankfully we were able to share some water with those purple that needed it badly..

Alvar communities are rare in Wisconsin due to fire suppression, so this place is quite special and something to be preserved. As soon as you begin exploring the landscape you'll be greeted with oak savanna, which at this time of the year has a smattering of color from butterfly weed, wood lily, black-eyed susans, and other native prairie flowers.

The scenic overlook is overgrown and there are much nicer public areas within 5 minutes to the north and to south.
