Impossible to get through their phone triage to a real person. Can still see the chip in my front windshield that they repaired.

Safelite of Ashwaubenon damaged my vehicle (snapped a trim part in half) while replacing my windshield, and refused to honor their written warranty on their work. I’m sure everything will be fine 80% of the time or whatever, but when it goes south, they won’t have your back. Don’t do business with them.

Nobody to speak with. Were asked about if we had garage or covering from weather for tech to perform job, in initial questions (we were setting initial appointment). Wife replied,"no".Safelite made appointment for very cold day, on a very cold week(Sub-Zero temperatures).I was called day of appointment by technician, telling me "you can drop vehicle off, but too cold for me to do it in cold weather" That, I can understand. What I can't understand is, how to reach someone to get refund of $50, that was paid for home appointment. When calling, you just get automated operator, that doesn't respond to the word "refund".Can't get a real person on the line.Tried over and over to get real person.Failed at all attempts.Only thing to do was reschedule appointment, or I would have to drive to their business. Which I chose to give-up and reschedule home appointment. When tech was finally at my house, I was telling him the same things I am writing. He said "I know. I've heard this complaint.I feel for you, but Safelite gets upset if he gives out the store number"(land-line).The tech did descent work

I came in here to get my windshield replaced. Told them my situation and it took them 5 mins to fix my issue. Turns out I didn’t need a new windshield at all.

Of course they would put a disclaimer that they aren’t responsible for damage they cause to your vehicle. Because they absolutely know it will happen and you will end up paying double what you we’re already quoted. What a terrible business model. I bet you actually brief your employees to do what you get to drain a customer’s penny. I’m so sick of having to pay for other peoples mistakes to my property. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I was able to get my entire windshield replaced for nearly the same amount that they were going to charge to fix a few chips in the windshield.

They thought I would be happier with visible ‘fixed’ chip rather than replaced glass even though I had full coverage. Stated reason was that insurance companies prefer it. I was informed differently until work was completed. The star chip in line of sight looks no different.UPDATE: You know it was never to be out of pocket, but knowing it was full-coverage from the insurance company you opted to do their preferred option of leaving the visible star until i asked why. Then I was informed that even though i have paid for full-coverage for years Safelite did the glue-dab because the insurance company prefers that. You seemed surprised i preferred to have it replaced. Finally it was replaced with Safelite and insurance company both saying we didn't know you would want it replaced rather than have the visible star shape in line of sight.

It would have been better if I'd been able to speak to a live person & not waste a trip to Green Bay. Upon arrival, I was told no repair was needed. Also, they do not go to some places!

I stopped in just to have them look at my chipped windshield, they repaired it in under 20 minutes. Great communication, great service, thank you, Travis.

Auto technician great! Above and beyond to make the repair correct and seamless for the customer. Multiple challenges and appointments with this encounter. The manager has POOR communication, service recovery, and follow through. He will raise his voice at you if you question it and then apologize. Very Poor leadership for a great business.
