Horrible business experience. 6 years ago I had spectrum home internet. I paid everything on time, there was no outstanding debt. When I moved out of that house I returned all of my equipment, paid off my remaining balance and closed my account. Now SIX YEARS LATER, spectrum randomly decides to put a $200 balance due for collections!!! Just now got the letter in the mail... So make sure if you are going to do business with this SHADY UPROFESSIONAL company you keep ALL of your receipts and have PROOF that you turned in your equipment so this doesn't happen to you or if it does you can easily dispute it!!!

the service goes out at least twice a week. I'm glad I don't work at home because the internet is unreliable after 8 pm.

If Billy is working and you can avoid going I recommend it. I didn’t enjoy going to drop off equipment that I didn’t even expect to be replaced and getting an inpatient man scold me for not checking in while he was helping no one. By the looks of it, his job is to stand there and judge people. The quality of service is just pathetic. Plus, I already feel like l pay way too much for spectrum but have no choice if i want internet. When I moved and requested to just change my address, I was instead set up with a new account that wasn’t even set up until 2 days until after my requested move date. Overall im annoyed by how they make you run all over.

Waited what felt like forever to get help. It was over 30 minutes. The rep I worked with was helpful and I was out quickly. They need more staff to keep up with the work load.

used to pay 49 bucks for internet, went up 65, went in talked to them, they knocked down to 55 for one year, next it went to 75, stopped in, asked, about hike, they said pay the full rate for 3 months and come back and talk to us at counter, come back 4 months later and they say nothing they can do, asked about why is it the internet disconnecting so much each day, like 30 + times, usually for a 20 or 40 seconds each time, they say check wifi settings, i say i dont use wifi, ethernet only. they looked confused. then tell me i should upgrade for 20 more bucks to the higher speed. i go whats the purpose if it keeps going out and wrecking what school work my nephew is working on or crashing the game im playing. but then they offer a package deal for tv and mobile, i dont have tv or mobile phone, so why would i want it. and it cost way more then just my internet. very ticked off.

In and out. The 2 guys working helped each other as a team. You could tell they cared and tried to have a bit of fun at work. Very refreshing!

Good luck on getting quick service. They had 2 people working and neither one wanted to be there. They took their sweet time. Sat and starred at their computers in between customers. I think they each did 4 customer in about 45 minutes time and that was people just exchanging something or picking up machine.

Generally have a good experience going to the office but I have a hard time when we have to call every year to try to keep our bill from increasing, we have been LOYAL customers for years and years. Who wants to mess around with disconnecting or switching. Should be perks for the loyals!

I had a very positive experience today at the Oneida store location . I was returning equipment and everything went very smoothly . Now if they just follow through and remove the equipment from my bill I will be a very happy customer . The location and parking are very good .

Extremely busy, waited over an hour and a half just to return a DVR box. Need more associates working! Need to find a better system for assisting customers with simple returns and exchanges.

I was told the equipment that was needed would be sent to me. This was Tuesday. They said the equipment needed would arrive on Thursday. The equipment never showed up. On Friday at 5p.m. and told them I was no longer interested. If you make a promise to someone. You keep your promise! The operator said that I could pick up the equipment at the store. I said why should I waist my gas and time. I wouldn't recommend Spectrum.

worst customer service. I initially called to cancel service but asked just to see if there was something she could do to help lower my bill. Customer Service lady said at this time she could not help me and if I was still interested in cancelling my service. She even told me I did not even have their fastest speed either but am paying well over $80. Been with them for well over 7 years nothing but increasing bills and slowest service ever.

Have promotions based on address. $30 for one home and then $70 for the exact same service at another home. Joke of a company. Literally a $1000 promotional difference over the 2 years.

They increase the bill until you complain. Then find a 'promo' to lower it a little. Loyal customers should get the best rate, not taken advantage of.
