Great aerial views of Green Lake. Had a Porter potty for easy access near the road. Pricey of the experience

Worst greens I've seen all year, anywhere. I would guess they don't have qualified people maintaining the greens.

Fairways and general course maintenance was well done. The greens, however, left a lot to be desired. It appears winter kill, or some other condition, had affected parts of many greens. This made it difficult to get a true roll on putts to the cup. Sand traps were plentiful and raked to start the day. Unfortunately, there were no rakes near the trap to use after hitting from the trap. Not sure what's going on there? This course places a premium on keeping your ball in the fairway, which are fairly narrow. Hitting left or right off the tee will put you in the middle of many tall, wide, old trees! Even with the greens in less than desirable condition this year, our group will be back to golf Tuscumbia again!

I would love to give Tuscumbia a better review but the greens were very bad. Maybe next year after the new owners can get things under control I can give this golf course a better review. This course has the potential to be 5 stars.

I have played many courses over the last thirty years but have never played on a golf course with full grown weeds on the putting greens. Unbelievably bad conditions on the greens and tee boxes, garbage overflowing in the men’s bathroom in the clubhouse and no food available on the turn. Yet they charge $50 with no apologies for the horrendous conditions

I like the old style course layout BUT....Golfed on a Sunday mourning. Seemed like No maintenance done on the course over the weekend. Tee box grass as tall as the ball tees. Greens were very long and shaggy. Also had extremely large areas of burnt or some kind of fungus decay. The 18th hole even had uncut crabgrass growing all over the green.I hope the best for this course success but won't return for a few years.

I have played golf at some very nice courses and some very basic ones. But I have never played on a golf course with full grown weeds on the putting greens. I have played Tuscumbia for 30 years and I have never seen it so run down. The putting greens were half blackened dirt, garbage overflowing in the men's bathroom, no water in the hall washers and no food in the clubhouse. And they had the balls to charge full price.

Had high hopes coming to play this course from reviews I've been researching. Nothing like people says about this course and it's under new owner. Tee box grass needs to be cut down lower because it's throws you off trying to find the right height when teeing with golf ball. 1 starts because fairways is okay but can use more work. Lastly, the putting greens....I've been playing golf for 20 years and seen some course that needs better care. But this is by far the worst course I've ever played with crappy greens. New management but these greens can not be this bad and you still charge $55 for a round. Hopefully improvements are being made but I will not return or have people I know play this course. Greens have dead grass, patchy and weed growing. If I was the owner I wouldn't be charging $55 for players but half of that price. Don't waste your time driving to this course to play in the condition it's in now. 4-5 holes have little dead grass but the rest is horrible.

The course was neglect for years. The new owner will make it great again.

Purchased GroupGolfer certificates for our round today because we heard a number of good things about Tuscumbia. Traveling from Green Bay to play, we're glad we paid only $25.00 for 18 holes with cart. The good stuff: The staff. Check in was easy in the bar. The young lady that helped us was very nice, and seeing as we had not been there before, she made sure we knew where to go and what to do. The beverage cart servers were very nice and regularly available throughout our round. The facilities are really nice although it appears a number of areas are going unused. It's dated, but clean and tidy. Carts were clean. The course: If you don't hit it straight, you better practice your punch-out shots; you're gonna need 'em. Trees line virtually every fairway, and being the oldest course in Wisconsin, they've grown over the fairways quite a bit creating some pretty narrow places to drive the ball. Trees come into play on 2nd and 3rd shots from the fairway on some holes too. It's a reasonably challenging course particularly for the shorter hitter; be sure to play from the appropriate tees (we played the white tees, I should have moved up to the gold tees, I hit driver 200-220 yards). There are some blind shots but the vast majority of holes are straight so that's generally not difficult to navigate. Punching out from the trees along the fairways is not difficult (trees are widely spaced), but know your distances with these shots so you don't end up in the trees on the other side of your fairway. Greens are fair and usually sloped toward the fairways, and generously sized. The conditions today: Tees were a bit beat up and not mowed as you would expect. Fairways are in good shape although a bit on the long side. The bunkers could use some TLC; ragged edges, poor sand conditions, and no rakes. We could deal with these things, but the greens were another matter entirely. Sadly they have significant winter kill with large patches of no grass at all. Where there is grass on the greens, it was mowed fairly long, so they were very slow. We opted for a max 2-putt when these patches came into play, which was often. I should mention that a good amount of rain fell the day before our round, so it may have been too wet to mow the course on this Saturday morning. It was a long drive and a long day to play a course with subpar conditions. As I said, we're glad we paid only $25.00 for 18 holes with cart. We're not sure we would go back, it would take more recent reviews indicating better conditions and another deal like GroupGolfer.

Fairways were ok, but many greens were in terrible shape. Sandtraps were unranked and hard. New owners just took it over and said they were working on fixing many neglected things. Maybe will be better in a year or so.

This is no country club.greens were mostly dried up dirt. Any nice areas were all ball marks. I fixed 5 on each hole of 18. No liquid in ball washers all in all fairways were ok. Charging 55 with cart was a joke on me. I wish I would have taken pictures.

I played there for just the second time yesterday and was saddened by the poor course conditions, especially the greens. Lots of completely bare spots that sometimes required us to move our balls just so that we could putt over grass. Also, the course has changed ownership and there is now absolutely no food, except for chips and candy bars, available in the restaurant or from the beverage carts on the course. The course layout is pretty boring, too, with mostly back and forth parallel fairways. Only 2 or 3 memorable holes. Definitely not worth the $55 green fees.

Most greens were burnt out. A back and forth course with not much variety. Mature tree lined fairways. Several tee shots were over a blind hill. Tee boxes were uneven and not trimmed. Needs a lot of upkeep. Price was right tho.
