Recently purchased a brand new ping g430 driver. Quickly realized that the shaft was way too heavy and stiff. I brought the club in, purchased a new shaft for over $200. They let me know that it would take several days for it to be ready for pick up. I took off work at lunch time 4 days later, drove the 40 minutes to the store and picked up my new shaft. Took it home, the adapter didn't fit. I called the store, they explained that if I bring it back, they'd replace it with the right adapter. So, this would require 4 total visits to the store to get what I already paid for. They simply explained that there's nothing else they can do. I asked if they could have a shaft with the CORRECT adapter ready so I can avoid driving across town a fourth time and the manager said they'd check the inventory. When the person in the golf department got back on the phone he said I simply would have to come out 2 more times. No acknowledgement of their screw up, no willingness to help in any way. I since took the shaft to a pro shop near my house, they fixed the situation with 1 visit. They trusted me as an adult to wait 24+ hours for the epoxy to dry and sent me home with the right thing. NEVER AGAIN will I give another penny to golf galaxy.

Was there a year or two ago and we were ignored by the staff. My wife complained and received an email assuring us that the manager was overhauling things and we should hopefully try again. Finally tried again as I need a full new set of clubs (would think that would be a nice sale!).....as last time though, THREE sales associates stood, sat and leaned on the counter, watching golf on TV and even though my wife I were within ten feet of them, none could be bothered to even say hi, let alone try and sell us anything. They could drop a few audible f bombs about the golf on TV though....Guess I will find another golf supplier where the staff actually gives a darn about helping customers. BTW, we were there around 4:20pm on Sunday 7/23 if you want to check a camera to verify my story. Pathetic.

We had a great experience here! I needed my golf clubs shortened, and Randy really helped us out. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was so great, in fact, that I told him when I win the LPGA with my newly shortened clubs and I am on camera holding my trophy with tears running down my face, I will say I owe it to Randy. To top this off, when checking out with my cool new golf skirt, I asked Jake if I could get a price adjustment on Thursday when they start their 20% off women's apparel sale. To my surprise and great pleasure, he said he would give us the discount today. Way to go!! It's a clean store with a nice selection of merchandise. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My only critique is that the regular prices of women's apparel is high on some items.

Derrick helped me get the right clubs. He asked a bunch of questions to let him know what I want/needed. He had me try them out by swinging them and even helped me see why I was hooking so much. I ended up buying the Callaway Paradym drivers andiron set.The rest of the employee there was awesome and friendly. I felt very welcome there. I will be definitely going back for more golf stuff.

A couple years ago my wife surprised me with a appointment at Golf Galaxy near Southridge Mall. Back history: I am a golfer and not great, but I enjoy it immensely. I am self taught since the age of 12. I have a 14.5 USGA Handicap. I am by NO means a good player. I was taken there because i asked for my birthday for some new Irons for my bag. At the time, I had Taylor Made 360's graphite which are over 10 years old...if not older. I wanted new Taylor Made irons. I was taken to the simulator by a nice gent who worked there. Think he was the resident pro. Anyway he had me hit about 4 different types of clubs for a total of about 25 shots and then stopped me cold. He deadpanned asked me how I leared to play, and I told him. Now, I was there to spend money and buy new Irons. He told me, but more my wife who set the appt up, that he COULD sell me new Irons for over a thousand bucks, BUT i should take that money and get lessons because never once when i hit the practice balls he set up for me did i set up in the same stance nor hit with the same swing. I get it. Im not a good golfer. Thanks for embarrasing me. So in the end I left empty handed and just bought new clubs online and still enjoy golf and play when I can. I guess if you want to lose a sale, honesty is indeed appreciated but i just ended up buying the clubs from an online dealer and your store lost the sale.

Ask for some advice on a new 3 wood or driver after being away from golf for 15 years. An associate from the golf club fitting section couldn't give any advice and suggested that I go home and do some research about clubs on the internet. He let me try a few clubs but seemed annoyed.

I bought a set of Cleveland UHX irons in April 2021, and in July 2021 the 5 iron broke very dangerously (photo attached) on a clean par 3 tee box at fire ridge golf course. I returned the club immediately to golf galaxy to send back to Cleveland through the warranty program. I was told by an employee in the golf department that I would hear back when it was fixed, but he warned that sometimes these things take up to three whole months. After three months, there was no word and the same employee told me "supply chain issues" at Cleveland were causing the delay. I went again several times and was told over and over again that Cleveland golf was taking forever to return my club. Eventually, in May 2022 I spoke with a golf manager who was just hired who told me they would fix my shaft by the next day and even promised a gift card. I arrived the following evening and the shaft was...almost done. Moreover, the manager gave me a gift card for $25 which is insulting to suggest that makes up for waiting 10 months and being lied to by employees several times about the situation. When I asked for a more substantial gift card, I was told by the manager that I should just be happy he got the club fixed for me.

As many of you stronger players know most of the time PING has to do any lie/ loft work on their own brand, HOWEVER ** the guys at this store with passion & care adjusted my lie on my 7iron with precision* It was refreshing to have great customer service! AWESOME job repair area!
