Employee was on the phone on an obviously personal call the whole time I was in the store. Never said a word to me while they checked me out. Seemed annoyed I was there.

Went looking for a book.

Employees sat reading while I came in and asked a question about a children's book. They barely acknowledged me while one looked up the book I was asking about. Store is completely unorganized as employees are a little too interested in reading while working instead of keeping it organized and helping customers.

Not sure what happened to this store recently but our last visit was rather unpleasant. It was dark inside so it was hard to see. Person working didn't even say hi or acknowledge us...they were on there computer watching a YouTube video. Store has definitely went down hill. The children's books were not organized. Some of the books were overpriced. Even there events aren't up to date.

Drove 35 minutes out, after confirming hours online, to a closed store. Not trying again.

Nice variety of used books.Prices are a bit high compared to half price books and 2nd and charles. They need to modernize though. They still write every sale down by hand. It took almost 10 minutes to buy 2 books.Side note. Why do the employees sit in a pile of pure garbage? Papers, take out wrappers, bags piled all around the register area. It looks disgusting.

Sadly, I recently left the Greendale location empty-handed and very disappointed with the pricing. The two books I was interested in were marked at full retail price despite both having damaged covers. Seller refused an offer to pay on the high-end of what is listed online for same-condition copies. For example, one book in the same condition ("very good" since the cover was worn/broken in some places but everything else was great) was available online for as low as $7 with shipping; I offered the seller $12 from the $19 she wanted as if the book were in brand new condition. Someone else who was visiting the shop also commented that the books were disappointingly overpriced.Used bookstores were my homes away from home as kid. I don't mind paying more at a local shop instead of buying books online - but that's only within reason. It seems like desperation may be nudging their prices into the range of unreasonableness in some cases and causing even more loss of sales. I hope they're able to better align asking prices for some of their books in the future. I'd love to support them.

A wonderful surprise. The shelves are well curated with a nice selection of literary fiction. Whereas most mall bookstores traditionally sell generic bestsellers, this is a genuine used bookstore with a deep selection. I often go to this mall just for this bookstore. They have another location at Mitchell Airport that is even larger.

I love to browse book stores and this one turned out to be a major disappointment. The selection is somewhat eclectic but way overpriced. I'm not sure if they want keep them for their personal collection or they want to sell them. It is almost like someone who hates them got ahold of their price stamp and went nuts. They would sell more books if the posted a sign saying all books half off marked price.

[Expletive-for-garbage]-tier bookstore. I have never seen a bookstore with less selection. You walk in and wonder why they rent a full store when you could fit the whole inventory in a large closet. They will, at check-out, make excuses for how your purchases are technically ineligible for specials. Anything to nickel and dime you. Also, Mask-holes. They will kick you out even if you are fully vaccinated but you don't want to wear a mask. That's the last straw. Go pick through the clearance aisle at Half Price books instead. You get the same selection for a much better price.

Fun staff. easy to shop. love it there. They've got comfy chairs. The 'Wisconsin' section is quite broad.
