Cluster. Was told that the script was sent but canceled. Tech didn't want to call the Dr office. Explained that I needed it timely. Said she would get around to it hopefully tonight. Understand everyone is over worked and under paid.

i hate being helped at the register by Robin she's very disrespectful with items she puts in bags, by carelessly dropping items in whether it be a pen, or soda cans. she doesn't seem to care about customers other than her people she knows. i'd greatly appreciate her being removed or relocated as a greendale citizen employees like her are unacceptable

What a difference a change in a Walgreens makes. After horrific and debilitating experiences at the Walgreens on Howell and Wilbur, I switched my prescriptions to this Walgreens in Greendale. It’s a 25 minute drive, but I would drive to another county for the service I receive at this Walgreens. The pharmacists go out of their way to help you, and they care. My wife was late picking up a prescription and arrived five minutes after the pharmacy’s lunch hour had started. At the pharmacy on Howell and Wilbur, you would be snarled at and told to come back in an hour. At this Walgreens in Greendale, the pharmacists and pharmacy clerks smiled and told her not to worry, and they even spent time explaining details about the medication. The shop is sparkling clean, and everyone is treated like a human being. The Walgreens in Greendale is a pleasure, and I’m ecstatic I switched drug stores.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the pharmacy staff, especially to Andy. It’s always good to see him and he remembers conversations we’ve had from months ago. With the number of customers he sees I’m impressed that he remembers the little details like that. The rest of the employees are just as nice too.

Another unfortunately useless Walgreens with limited pharmacy hours that can't sell certain cold or allergy medicine after pharmacy closes.

Just a heads up! They don’t employ a pharmacist on the weekends - what a joke! A pharmacy without a pharmacist. Then they expect YOU the customer to run all over town to different Walgreens to get prescriptions switched. Definitely lost a customer!!!

Possibly life threatening negligence by this location. This involves 3 Walgreens locations: the one in Hales Corners on hwy 100, the one on Loomis and Layton, and the one on Loomis and Southway. On the 19th of March 2023, I attempted to pick up my medication from the Walgreens on Highway 100 and Forest Home in Hales Corners. I was informed that the medication was filled at a Walgreens on Loomis and Southway road. They offered to change this and have the prescription filled at the Hales Corners pharmacy so I could pick it up there instead. After waiting for ten or fifteen minutes, I was informed that my medication had already been paid for and picked up at the Loomis and Southway location and that I would not be able to receive any medication without exorbitant cost because the insurance company already covered a month’s worth of the medication (whether or not it was me that picked it up).I then proceeded to call the Walgreens on Loomis and Layton. Turns out there are two Walgreens pharmacies on Loomis, so this was not the location that originally had the meds; however, they looked into the situation regardless and had also informed me that the medication had been picked up. They gave me an approximate window of time, around 11AM on the 17th of March, 2023: this was the time the medication was allegedly picked up and paid for (not by me). After several phone calls between three different walgreens (Highway 100 and forest home, Loomis and Layton, and Loomis and Southway), I was informed that the medication could not be filled due to the insurance issue and that nobody knows what happened. The walgreens on Loomis and Southway offered to call back. In addition, the walgreens on Loomis and Layton looked into the security footage around 11AM. There is only one woman picking up medication in that time window, according to the manager I spoke to; however, there was no camera on the drive through according to him; therefore, he says “someone might have gotten it through the drive through, I honestly couldn’t tell you”.Thus, since nothing could be done, I had to skip taking my medication. The medicine is Prazosin, 2mg nightly, which both operates as a mental health medication for PTSD as well as a blood pressure medication. Stopping medications like this as suddenly I was forced to comes with nasty side effects. I didn’t sleep due to the nasty nightmares, I feel emotionally unstable, I can barely function at work or at all, my entire body feels tense, I could not sleep whatsoever, and it literally feels like I am a spirit gliding across the floor whenever I walk. Crazy, I know, but it’s hard to put into words how awful this feels. Especially considering my brain is going through a whirlwind of a medication withdrawal.Every single walgreens was informed that I had run out of the medication and that I would have to skip it, even considering the disastrous side effects. Still, nothing was done.I receive a call today from the walgreens on Southway.THEY HAD THE MEDICATION THE ENTIRE TIME. NOBODY THOUGHT TO LOOK IN THE BIN WHERE THEY PUT THE MEDICATION. I was informed that by the manager (I believe his name was Andy, however my memory is obviously hampered right now. 90 percent sure) this morning about the situation. He even claims about four or five things went wrong that shouldn’t have; including that I could have gotten enough medication to hold me over for a couple bucks or so (despite the other walgreens telling me it was expensive, so I could have had it for a couple bucks anyway! No one told me!).I have to suffer through withdrawals because a pharmacy professional at walgreens didn’t have the common sense to look in a bin. Even if the computer said whatever it did, it takes two seconds to pull out a small plastic bin and look.I am concerned that this will happen to others. As horrible as I feel right now, for somebody else, this mistake could result in death. Therefore, I feel it is at least important for the public to know this is happening. This incompetence could put lives (and overall health) at risk.

Purchased a gift card from this store a few weeks ago and it still doesn’t work. I went in an hour after trying to use and the employee said “not our problem, final sale”. When I called the store which the gift card was purchased for, the store said I needed to go back to Walgreens. Basically I made a donation to Walgreens and out money. You are welcome for the donation Walgreens!
