Inside is fine, I guess. Avoid curbside pickup at all costs. Waited for over 30 minutes for my wife's order to be brought out. I literally could've walked inside and purchased the one item myself in 1/3 of the time. Un-effing-believable

Horrible customer service via phone. 1-9-24 11:52AM Called to ask question about custom framing. Had me on hold, which was fine. After 10 minutes, I was told to call back at some time in the future because woman that takes care of that was busy and unavailable. I asked if I could leave my contact information to find out if custom framing was done at that location or sent out. And what the current projected turn around time is to complete a custom framing job at that location. I was then told sneeringly that Joanne's could not do give a estimate of how long it would take to complete a job.I became confused because at first the individual said they could not answer any framing questions and then they started making statements about Joanne's custom framing policy. Gave may contact information and questions. We'll see if they call back.Glad I called a head. I won't giving them my business

Horrible customer service... asked question to older woman on duty today. Just kept waking and pretty much said look yourself. Twenty mins to close checking out being rushed and treated like they were closed already. I SPENT $180 PLUS for my buisness decor and felt very rushed and like it was a problem I was shopping and they wanted to close early. I'll be going back to micheals where people actually work their jobs.

I placed an order on 12/6/23 and it was cancelled on 12/23/23. This is unacceptable, these were Christmas gifts. I tried calling the customer support and was informed via an automated message that I needed to email customer support at Joann.com. I emailed customer support and never received a response. On 12/23/23 I received an email that my entire order was cancelled. Following is their response to why my order was cancelled: "I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your entire order. The cancellation was due to an automated sourcing issue in our system, which regrettably is beyond our ability to resolve or control. To fulfill the original order, the items needed to be sourced from multiple shipping locations. However, our system automatically cancels orders once they reach a certain number of sourcing locations. Please understand that this process is fully automated and cannot be halted." What kind of antiquated ordering system do they have? Do NOT place an online order at joann.com!

I went there looking for ornament storage. Lots of Christmas discounted.The store was clean. Lines to check out weren't too bad, but I was there within 1 hour of opening.

I usually never write reviews for companies, however, in some circumstances when customer service is exceptional, I do sometimes. Annalisia checked me out today and she mentioned that she was new. She asked me what I was making with the stuff that I bought, and she seemed genuinely interested which made my day. I hope this review makes her day as well!

I’ve frequented this store often, to purchase material for my projects, but this will no longer be the store that I spend my money. I phoned the store to inquire about an issues that I was having with my sewing machine, in effort to receive some advice from a professional. On my first attempt to speak with someone, the person who answered the phone immediately stated that this was not something that Joann Fabric could help me with, but that I would need to talk with someone at the “kiosk”. I asked that she backtrack and explain what the “kiosk” was, and that it would make more sense for her to explain the reason for spewing out a number, without explanation, and she told me that the store was busy (at 10am), and that she had to get off the phone. She then hung up on me. This is an abbreviated account of the dialogue exchanged, to not lose your attention. I then phoned the number she provided, which turned out to be the Viking sales rep in the store. She felt the need to chastise me for calling Joann Fabric about repairing an issue with a sewing machine that was not purchased at Joann Fabric. Sidebar, she right away told me that she couldn’t helpMe unless it was a Viking machine, and didn’t know why I would have been given her number. Back to the topic, after being chastised I laughed at the idea that she was assuming that I wanted my machine repaired. I told her that I never asked to have my machine repaired, but that I wanted to ask a professional about an issue I was having with my Singer sewing machine. I explained that I thought that Joann Fabric helped people with sewing issues, and that maybe someone could walk me through to help with my problem. She laughed, and stated that I couldn’t call Joann Fabric to repair a machine that I purchased at Walmart. When I had enough, I hung up the phone.I never asked to have my machine repaired. I never said that I purchased the machine from Joann Fabric. I just knew Joann Fabric to have “professionals” that were helpful while shopping in store. I no longer believe this about Joann Fabric, and especially not he store located in Greenfield, WI. I have an ongoing project that will require material and accessories, but I will travel out of my way before stepping foot back in this store. I would hate to think that I was treated this way due to my race, but it was quite the coincidence that both of these women spoke to me in a condescending manner as if I was nothing! It’s only a matter of time before this store’s sell’s decline, with this type of associate behavior, whether it be Joann or Viking. I’m no longer impressed and my dollars will be spent elsewhere.So to the Viking representative that asked what I was going to file, and to who I was going to file something, the answer is: This Review. And I plan to tell everyone I know, because a negative review will go much farther than a positive review.Good Luck, Joann in Greenfield, WI

1/5 — Poor customer service. I had called to inquire about a product I saw on the website and about the price matching guarantee. The employee who picked up the phone to assist me was rude, snarky, and was hasty with me. Even if you had a bad day you don’t treat others with disrespect.I will not be supporting this location going forward.

Great selection of fabrics to choose from and some very nice home decor. Some nice fabrics in their “scraps” section and I’ve been very happy. Also had a quick and easy experience with their curbside pickup today.

I absolutely love JoAnns because they always have good deals and fabrics you won’t typically find anywhere else. This store is stocked very well and I don’t have issues getting what I came for! Unfortunately, at this specific location (76th street) there are several employees that are extremely rude. If you shop in store, you are treated like an inconvenience to the employees. I typically order for store pick up to keep my interaction with staff to a minimum.

I recently got back into sewing after 30 yrs. The women at Joann Fabrics have been so supportive, helpful and kind to me! I have always found great fabrics for my projects (lately I have enjoyed sewing French seamed pillowcases).
