Horrible customer service! I am actually writing this on behalf of my mother and her experience at this store while buying a hearing aid for my father. They went to the store and purchased a $6000 hearing aid. By signing in the office that day, they were able to receive a free $200 charger. They had to sign that day to get this "deal". They signed up and the hearing aid and charger were ordered that Friday. The office did review the contract with them. My father had changed his mind the next day. When my mother called on Monday ( as well as over the weekend) to cancel the order she was told she would still have to pay a $600 restocking fee. My father never even received the hearing aid and she still needed to pay the restocking fee. I think the thing that really kills me is the customer service. The owner of that franchise and the person who fitted my father for the hearing aid were very rude about all of this. They were super friendly in the beginning when they were buying a hearing aid for $6000. If they were to order it on line, they could have canceled the order and not be charged the restocking fee. They are on a fixed income and was still told they needed to pay a restocking fee when the hearing aid wasn't even shipped yet. The best part is the next day the office sent my mom a letter via FedEx explaining to my mother the contract and highlighting the restocking fee. They had to really let a couple in their late 60s on a fixed income know that they were duped out of $600. Way to go Miracle Ear!! I work with people who are above 50 years old in social serivces. Never recommending this place.
