“The building at Spencer & Mason is smaller and older than other locations; but, their transactions are just as efficient and accurate. I have found this locale more quiet than the bigger ones; but, keep in mind there are fewer tellers, so a line might be encountered from time to time. The parking lot can be a little tricky to get in and out of, but there is plenty of parking.”
“After everything has been said and done today, Sophi (there was a guy with blonde hair there as well helping) and the guy with Sophi (I think his name started with a B) were absolutely so patient, amazing, and kind. They went above and beyond and helped me with everything from getting my cash checked, to helping me set up a portion of my new account, and just being all around pleasant people at the Wisconsin Ave Branch. “The absolute friendliest people - I've loved banking with them for years and they always are so happy and smile at me at the drive through. It feels like a true local community bank! Whenever I swing by they always have some random fact or topic on their mind - I have enjoyed working with them truly.
My one quarrel, is I never understood is why I get hit with a fee for having my checking account dip into my savings when I have plenty of money in a separate account with that bank. I must've spent $500 in rollover fees without even noticing.
If they didn't have that they'd have my heart completely!”
“This is the place where I opened up my first checking account back when I was a child. I’ve never had any issues, pretty simple client, but I did recently run into an issue with fraud. I won’t lie process wasn’t as smooth as one would hope. I lot of back and forth, confusion and I do think if I didn’t call back, my situation would’ve been forgotten about. I don’t think I wasn’t properly communicated with initially, but they did help rectify the situation. I understand that a lot of people falsely claim fraud, but that wasn’t my situation. I’m happy I was able to further explain my side of things and come to a better resolution!”
