I got here at 1:00 pm. 9 out of ten people not wearing mask as required in the Wellness Center. I talked to staff who did nothing. Signs posted everywhere stating a mask mandate. Will not be back.

Theyve been closed down the last couple months and are now running short hours. Go to planet fitness or experience fitness you'll be much better off and it's cheaper.

BEWARE:Beautiful facility, staff was always kind, but what an absolute nightmare if you have moved and try to cancel! I never knew you had to cancel at the location you signed up; I thought you could cancel at any site-a mistake on my part or poor communication when I signed up. I now live two hours away and because of the distance, I was told I could cancel by email if I contacted the site. The last time I spoke to someone I asked when I would receive the cancellation notice and she had no idea :/ Well, after calling/speaking to someone three times and a week elapsing, I still have not received any email! I So much time has gone by now it is too late to even cancel because you need to contact them/receive the cancellation five days prior to the first. I have definitely learned my lesson and won't be coming back.

Lock your belongings. There are petty thieves in attendance. I’m done there.

The FWYMCA has always been dedicated to my personal and my families experience. Smaller than most ymca’s but the workers then get to know all the guests well :)) love it !!!

Love it ....best Ymca pool in the valley. The pool has some salt for added buoyancy. It’s usually pretty quiet and the sun shines through the 2 story window in the morning to brighten your swim with wonderful sunlight. They have kayak classes and a mini golf course....also it’s a good place to recycle your used tennis shoes.

Detailed review below, but the one thing you need to know before signing up: They CANNOT guarantee they'll stop taking your money when you cancel. When you sign up they tell you if you cancel by X date they stop charging you. In reality, they may or may not stop taking money, even when you cancel before the date they told you. OK now details: The facility is 3/5. The pool is nice. They only have one machine each for weight training. The free weights have more options but if you're like me and use the machines you'll have to wait a lot. The majority of the facility is dedicated to children. There are day cares and stuff. If you're an adult this place isn't designed for you. For example, more than once kids were throwing basketballs at each other in the hallways and the stuff did nothing. Maybe if you're used to children that's no big deal. Personally, I don't want to get hit by a basketball. Policies are 1/5 for adults. Even if they're open you can't use the facilities if it's "Family night". That's right, they will not allow you to use the membership you're paying for, while the building is opened and staffed, if you don't bring in children for family night. Plus the terrible cancellation policy they don't tell you about that I mention above. Most of the staff are friendly. One of the lifeguards scolded my wife because he didn't like her swimsuit. To me that is completely unacceptable and was the final straw for us. All in all, I might sign up again in the future. But I would almost certainly go to a gym that prefers their paying customers to children.

New to the area and the Y has been an awesome way to plug into the community and get involved in everything from 4K to Yoga (and much more.)
