Today I encountered the RUDEST employee I have ever come across in my life at The Dollar Tree in Hales Corners! He is a middle aged white guy with unkept brown hair. Besides talking so rudely to me, he kept pulling his phone out of his pocket to check while waiting on customers. Because of the way he spoke to me (RUDELY!), I will not be returning to that Dollar Tree and I have been a regular customer there for many years. Bring back the sweet elderly lady!!!!

HORRIBLE STORE! The cashier ( older white male , he is heavy set ) publicly embarrassed me by asking me if I had money on my card ?! Cashier also made comment about me being slow and making other customer wait when he would ask me how to do his job?! Absolutely insane, I am never going back! Ever.

Needed 3 things went into the store. Totally mobbed to employees just to employees. Managers called in other employees not showing up broke my heart...... The older gentleman said please bear with me. I'll do the best that I cand and I apologize that it's just me. Where the hell is corporate? How dare them do that to these people at the store? It's Christmas..... They're always so kind and friendly in there. But I have never, ever seen a manager lift a finger. So to the young lady with all the different colors in her hair and the elderly gentleman behind the cashier Bravo to the both of you for handling the situation the way you did Merry Christmas. And corporate needs to learn how to handle their stores.

Most rude employees ever. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or what, but a heavyset older white male said, "I don't want to be bothered with you people." I'm not sure if it was my race (African American) or what, but I told my husband and he said the same man said to him, "Go stop in the city," whatever that means! Either way to avoid trouble or an uncomfortable treatment I will not be returning to spend a single dollar!!!!

My daughter and I were in the store yesterday. We had the privilege of being checked out by a very attentive and customer oriented gentleman by the name of Scott. It was a pleasure and we will return to this store because of him. We left the store smiling.

I am a past employee. Dollar tree is the worst place to work. We didn''t have a managet so I worked as manager and merchandise Manager. I worked when needed. I was told I would get the Manager position. I came into work one day and they told me we had a new Manager named Marvin. The worst Manager ever. Never showed up on time. Treats people like they are children. Sits in the office the whole shift. I put in for a transfer. Waited for a schedule. Than was told I was fired for no call no show when I never received a schedule. The DM Steve never liked me and that was his way of getting me out of the company. It was the best thing he could do. I now have a job I love where I'm treated with respect.

Best customer service you can get. Store closes at 8pm on Sunday and we arrived at 8.01. After seeing the closing hours we got back in the car. The employee saw us leaving, came outside, and asked us to get in and finish our shopping. Very happy with their service.

Alright, so, to preface this, I work customer service aswell. I walked into the store around 8:50 on a Saturday, I was unaware they close at 9:00. Had I known they closed at 9 I would've not gone. Either way, I entered the store and the first thing I hear was not a welcome or a hello, it was a groan of disappointment. He said 'uh oh.'Naturally I was confused and he goes; "Are you aware we close in like 2 minutes?" So we left.First off, they closed in 10 minutes, second off you're still supposed to let me buy things until you close. Or atleast lock the door..On top of that I would've only take like a minute to get my stuff. Now I get it, getting customers when you're about to close, isn't fun. But you still serve them.He was rude, and they weren't doing anything, they were standing around doing nothing.Terrible, genuinely.

I love this location. Marvin & Scott are great! Marvin even went in the back to search for additional items for me, and Scott always asks if I need assistance reaching items.

if i could give less stars i would, but this store is not great, the new manager marvin is not good, several times when i’ve gone in to shop there has been a long line, and the cashier will call for a manager and he wouldn’t show up for over ten minutes while the poor employee apologizes to everyone there when it is not their fault. also maevin never schedules more than maybe two employees to work at one time despite knowing that a) people need jobs, and b) the lines can super long with customers waiting upwards of twenty minutes. also i have talked with one of their previous employees and have said that maevin will purposely give less hours to people, and that he is horrible at being a manger and training people. this employee also stated that he has made it so no employee wants to stay longer than they have to and want to leave as soon as they can. plus the store, while it is clean is not organized, things are not where they should be and whenever an employee or someone is needed they are no where to be found im very disappointed

If I could rate no stars I would. My elderly Christian grandmother had worked for Dollar Tree for 12 years. She’s always kind and smiles. Ever since the previous manager Judy left the store has gone downhill. Marvin the current manager, is lazy, late, unprofessional, and mistreated my grandmother. He cut her hours, tried to make her change schedules, and was rude to her. Furthermore, she was the only one on the register with the line going to the back of the store, and he wouldn’t hop on to help her, or the customers. She was recently fired for being short with her drawers. Marvin said she had been short multiple times. However, he never counted the drawers before she left for the day. My grandmother is so careful with money in her personal life and always counts it to a T when working. So how could she have been the one short when this only occurred when she worked with Marvin? The other managers never mentioned her being short on her shifts with them. My grandmother was unfairly treated and fired. The store manager is unfit for the position of manager.

I come here often and I can honestly say I've never had an issue. Sure lines are long sometimes but they are also short staffed so you get what you get. But today I saw something amazing. The woman ahead of me was short some money and the manager Marvin pulled money out of his pocket to help her. Another woman in line offered to cover the rest as well. (Yes i offered too but they beat me to it lol). It was a beautiful act of kindness and a good reminder that we need to be there for one another. ❤️
