She has definitely raised her prices!! And for people who are not religious to have to sit and listen to praise music..why not just like a soft rock or just instrumental music. $40 for a coffee mug is just outrageous!

The staff was not very helpful at all. I came in with my3 grandkids for our first time doing pottery. No explanation on how to or ideas for a better experience. Very stingy with paper towels, paint and brushes. Had to ask for any instructions for the kids and she never came by the table to check on us.

Very clean and beautiful building. I came in summer and the AC worked great to combat heat. One young lady was working alone and was so friendly and helpful. She gave plenty of brushes and refills of paint and got fresh water multiple times. My two friends and I were there for several hours and we never felt rushed because she was so patient. Great atmosphere to truly have fun with no worries. Will 100% come back even though I am very bad at painting! Also the bathroom was so clean and the sanitizer smelled very good which is not found often so I thought I should mention.

When we walked in the store we were completely ignored more than once. We also were not told about the extra pottery in the back room that’s available for painting. Incredibly stingy with the paint and the paper towels! Rarely asked if we needed clean water because they were too busy taking personal calls. The staff is very pushy, rude, Judgmental especially when it comes to asking for more paint. You always feel like you’re being watched accept for when they’re taking personal calls, or taking care of their “party room” guests. Also one time we got a pottery piece and noticed there was a big chip in it, we then told the staff and they then came over with a hand file and made us do it ourselves! We were also told if we wanted to come back and paint our same piece we already purchased (keep in mind these pieces are expensive!) that we would be charged 3 extra dollars! And there was another event that occurred when we finished painting our pottery we were told all our pottery would be fired at the same time, that didn’t happen, we had to wait an extra week to get our pottery! Overall just don’t come here, if you’re looking for a nice painting place go to just kiln time in Menomonee Falls! (If I could of gave a zero star rating I would’ve :(

We’ve been coming to Creative License since they opened with the previous owner. Always happy and helpful staff. Prices are clearly displayed on either object itself or on a sign right by it. Prices include EVERYTHING- pottery, paint and firing. No limits on how many colors you want on your object. No extra cost for sitting fees. While there are specialty colors, the sign is clear that they cost extra. This was all mentioned when we walked in even though we’ve been coming here for years. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Brought the family out to create after finding out about it on Facebook on a page I follow. Can't say I'm disappointed, everyone had fun and I hope that our projects turn out good! I would love to come back for a class.

I would never go back here. We went with our 2 kids (just under 10) and from the second we walked it, it wasn’t a great first experience. We were greeted and told the ceramic selection was on the wall if we wanted to paint. Prices of the items were not posted, so we picked out 4 of the smallest items to paint. We had to ask where we could get the paint, and were given no direction on how we needed to paint them or how many coats to get a good looking piece. One of the employees took a call on speaker phone with a repair guy the entire time we were there, and you could hear every word that was said through the whole place - very unprofessional. The employees just stood around the whole time, never came to check on us or to ask if we needed fresh water for our paint brushes. When we finished, we had to ask what to do and where to put our painted items, something that should have been discussed upon us starting. Then we checked out to find a total of over $100, just shocked at the cost especially since there was no disclosure of prices anywhere. Finally, after calling to confirm that our items were done 1 week later as they stated, we checked the hours online to find the location was open 12-5 each day. We arrived at 4:30 and it was already closed.Overall, I really hope this review is taken seriously to make some changes in your customer service and price transparency in the Hartford location.

I have been here twice. Once with my six year old daughter and once with a friend. Both times the staff were very helpful and friendly. They give you suggestions and help if you want it and space if that's what you prefer. Super cute place.
