Called to get a simple straight-pipe section installed where my muffler was removed. The job is literally one foot of 2” pipe and a clamp.
I was told they “don’t know the cost unless they see it” and then immediately quoted $150 for a job that other muffler shops do for $40–60.
The interaction felt rushed and dismissive, like they didn’t want the job.
Not judging their work quality, but based on my experience, this wasn’t a friendly or transparent place for basic exhaust work.

I brought my jeep in for new tires knowing my windshield washer resistor was empty. I didnt fill it. So it had to have been these guys. Thank youu 🥺🥺🥺 what a nice surprise. They also worked with me and my timeline on a somewhat emergent scenario.

Here's a nice update for you . I took my travel trailer in to have two new tires put on the brakes inspected as well as the hub assembly being properly greased . They were happy to help me for a reasonable price . So if you're in the need of travel trailer Tire and Brake hub assembly repair they are the place to go to in Hartford that is fair and reasonable in price and quality service .Nicely run family business. My vehicle was treated with care and professionalism. The work done was thorough and at a fair price. They stuck to the estimate. I recommend them for exhaust and tire repair.

Went in looking for just 1 new tire to replace my flat, ended up buying 4. Decent price and Ryan was really doing what he could to accommodate my needs and ensuring my vehicle would be done in time. Not only was it done in time, it was done, a few hours before hand and I only gave him a 4.5 hour window to even work with. He even went the extra mile of dropping my kids and I back off at home and then picking us back up when it was done so we didn’t have to wait there all day. I was not looking to replace 4 tires today but honestly the service and staff made the stop worth it. Glad I read some reviews, saw the rating and checked them out! We will be back for additional needs as they arise.

Took my Pacer in to have the exhaust fixed since it had some rattles and was rubbing in a few places. D&D did a great job fixing the exhaust, they were quick and very fair on price. I definitely recommend them.

I have been going to D&D for over a decade now. And I’ve been impressed and happy with their services every single time. Their prices are affordable and they do truly go above and beyond in making sure you are happy with their work. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

I’m SO disappointed in D & D! I’ve been a loyal customer with 3 vehicles for almost a decade. I woke up this morning to a flat tire. I called Lisa and she abrasively stated the shop had NO availability this morning to assess my tire, patch it or replace it. She blamed a staffing issue. I’m an RN and we often work a little harder, faster, and are more flexible with staffing shortages. We NEVER turn anyone away. I will NEVER bring another vehicle to them. I encourage you to find a shop that has your back even when they are short staffed. I wasn’t asking to be pushed to the front of their schedule. I was asking to be fit in sometime before noon! Please do yourself a favor and find another establishment. I was greeted immediately by another shop with a full schedule this morning.

Had a great first time experience using the shop. We just moved to town and had four new tires put on my wife’s Blazer based on a recommendation from a family member. Lisa and the crew were awesome, really went out of her way to help with a tire rebate. Great communication and car was done earlier than expected. We definitely will be back. Highly recommend!

I've had several great experiences with D&D. Recently our vehicle needed some front end work. They got the car in, diagnosed it, repaired and alignment done, and got the car back to me in 24 hours. Fair pricing and did not try to sell me on anything I didn't need, just what was needed to fix the issue. Highly reccomend.

Needed an oil change for my car. It was fast, friendly service from making the appointment, dropping the car off, picking it up, and following up with a message to make sure I was happy with the service. The cost was communicated up front, and there was no pressure sales for additional work to be done.

I had D&D create a custom exhaust for my Jeep and they did a great job! Done in one day. Attention to detail was fantastic. Their rates are very competitive. Communication was great. I would highly recommend this shop! Not to many shops around like this any more. Thank you!
