We purchased a 2023 Bronco Sport through here. The purchase was smooth, except for one major discrepancy noticed once home. An additional warranty (that was not authorized) that cost almost $4000 more.A major reason we went here for our needs was because of the 20 year, 200,000 mile warranty included with new vehicle purchases. The vehicle also included 2 other warranties. Everything was great, but once home, we noticed that another warranty was included. This warranty cost $3,850.00, and was worse than the included 20 year warranty. We immediately contacted the dealership, and the man told us that he would see what he could do. Once he knew anything he would call us back. He never did.Then I emailed him and the sales man. The sales man replied, but the other man (the loan procurer) never replied. Eventually I was told to request a cancelation form, and then they would send us the form. I would have to mail it in and wait about a month for a prorated amount that would get taken off the end of the loan.Well, this was still unacceptable to me so I emailed the general manager of the store. Within 12 hours we were contacted and asked when we would be able to come back to redo the signing of the documents. We went back in and signed the new loan papers, which reduced our monthly payment by almost $80.Although I know that once something is signed it is legally binding, the way the purchase was implemented added much confusion. We are very grateful that the problem was eventually resolved.A tablet was used, requiring my spouse to only check a box where a signature is typically required. The tablet kept needing to be rebooted, adding more confusion to the process. The unwanted additional warranty could have been a mishap on both parties' ends. The only thing that makes this assumption questionable is the loan officer's inability to contact me about the problem with said warranty. Had I not contacted the general manager, I would probably still be stressing out about the extra charge.Ewald's Ford would have received 5 stars had the warranty problem been resolved right away. Since it took a week, and emailing multiple people, I decided to give the company 4 stars. One individual there lost them a 5 star rating.

Our sales man was Damon K. When we inquired about a test drive the lady told me they would have Damon show us around because he was the “best” I thought yaya… Damon was the absolutely best; authentic and professional the whole time, my husband and I felt comfortable with him and he listened to all our needs for our FIRST car buying experience.We will be back for sure. Thank you Damon for making this process great!

I purchased a used Mach E from them, and I have had several opportunities to have the car serviced for TSBs and updates and every time I go there both CJ, the customer service representative, and Frank, the service manager, have gone well beyond my expectations. I have had a chance to speak to the tech working on my car, I have had personal attention from the service manager and CJ is always pleasant and helpful. Yes, the shop is busy, and I imagine they, like everyone else, don't have the staff they might like, but I have had excellent treatment from everyone there. I would highly recommend their service department to anyone!

new car from at the first oil change they told me the tires were shot and the brakes were bad. It only has 5000 miles on it. Does that make sense to you? I'd say they're a bunch of lion cheeks.

Went to 6 different dealers same day before finally receiving the help I needed in finding my next purchase!Dawn was absolutely pleasant in every part of the process - she had me in and out, which was important to me after a long day and ensured any questions I had, were not only answered but dealt with!This dealer deserves a 6/5 star rating , most certainly! ? ? ?

We got great service from Doug at Ewald’s Hartford Ford who helped us locate the right vehicle, and stayed late with the team to help us get all the paperwork in order. Weeks later, he is still providing great follow up service and checking in on us! Very pleased with our new car, friendly service and the great support from Doug and the team!

This past week I worked with Dawn at Ewald Ford. She was 100% fantastic. She carefully explained all the features of my new car as I was overwhelmed with all the technology that was included. She patiently answered every question I had and was very knowledgeable about the car I was testing. She walked me through the service department and explained where I would bring my car for oil changes, where I would wait for it, and so forth. I highly recommend her! I also worked with Trent in finances. He also answered all of my questions. The financing part was painless thanks to his knowledge. Great job, Dawn and Trent! I will be back.

Great service by sales went in looking for a used vehicle with little to no specific model in mind just some specific details we needed in a vehicle and Dawn got us into a 2016 explorer sport that was the perfect fit for our family quick and very friendly service couldn't ask for a better sales lady thank you very much

Doug was suggested by another customer. I contacted him to try a few truck options. We set a time and he had all the options ready for me to try, even though it was supposed to be his day off. He was very patient as I was also looking elsewhere and he worked with me to help make the best choice for me. One of the best things I liked was that there was no pressure to buy any of the vehicles. He was aware that it’s my choice and I’m the one who needed to be happy with it. He was very helpful and had answers for everyone of my questions, which helped me with my decision. I eventually chose what would be the best for me and, thus far, very helpful with it. UPDATE: The 2017 Transit Connect XL that my company purchased has not been drivable since shortly after the purchase. The vehicle has breaking issues where all break locks up and is unsafe to drive. Ewald's has not been willing to totally take care of the issue. We have driven approximately 93.5 miles since purchase, most of which was the drive back from Hartford. I have approximately $1,000 invested in repairs with another quote of $2,140. They offered me $400 towards these repairs, which is a slap in the face. I am giving them the chance to make this right, and will update this review.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Joseph was great to deal with. He made buying easy which is really appreciated when you're making a 100 mile drive to get a vehicle. He worked directly with my bank to make it happen. In and out of the dealership in under an hour on a Friday. Eric the Finance Manager was easy to deal with as well. Thank you Ewald's for the smooth transaction.

Great customer service…Damon hit a home run for me and my family. We couldn’t be happier with how attentive he was for our needs and got us into the exact vehicle we wanted. Ewald’s was willing to work with us on price and actually won our business over their competitor due to Damon’s quick and timely communication. I dropped off my 2019 Ford Escape for an oil change the night before my appointment was set. The next day I got a text saying it was complete two hours before I needed it back! I walked in, picked up my keys, paid, and left in about five minutes. An extraordinary experience. Thank you, Ewald!
