Banking with a local bank is a breath of fresh air. Whenever there is a question or issue, the response is "I will find out for you." (and they do), instead of the "It's not my department--pass the buck to someone else or wait on hold in a long phone queue response from the big banks.

When I was going through difficult times personally I over drafted a few times. Their mobile banking app barely works so it was difficult for me to keep track of my extremely low funds. They sent me a letter saying, it was a "privilege" to bank with them and threatened to close my account. As if life wasn't hitting me hard enough I had to get a reminder from my bank of my hard times. It makes it hard to trust this bank and unless you have allot of money probably isn't the bank for you. Snobby townie bank that doesn't make any effort to support the community they claim to be part of. There are a few good tellers and the only star I gave them is for those tellers.

Tammy was extremely very helpful and the other banker they helped resolved our issues and problems and went on a Sunday to the bank to help us resolve our issue I was wrong about this bank if highly recommend them

I had to give them one star. It should be zero. These guys claim to be a small hometown bank but look no differently at you than a big bank. I brought them a business purchase acquisition that Bob looked at and said, “This looks great! I see no reason why you shouldn't buy this business.†This would have been an opportunity to grow and expand. “Oh but let's look at the big picture.†Which means, “We are actually a big bank that could care less what you could do for the community.†Big picture is that I started my businesses during the recession and even though they are successful and make money- not enough for them. Funny how the banks got the bailout during the recession but us small business people are still just trying to dig themselves out with no help from them. He didn't ask what my business does or ask how I operate or how I intend to grow and transform the new business, making an already profitable business grow exponentially. The last one I purchased using a women's only micro-lender grew 500% in the last three years. There was no personalized service at this bank. No support for local, small business here.

The best bank in Wisconsin and maybe the Universe. We have been banking with First National Bank of Hartford both personal AND business for over 20 years. The staff at all of the locations, but particularly Richfield since that's the office I frequent the most, are friendly, professional, caring and considerate. And let me tell you about their banking website where I can pay my bills, view my account 24/7...I've never been so happy NOT having a checkbook! I do it all on their website. Amazing stuff, amazing people.

This is a helpful and friendly Hometown Bank. I have always had great customer service. There's adequate parking and it is handicap accessible. It has a beautifully decorated interior it makes you feel confident that your money is protected. Easy to access from Sumner Street in Hartford Wisconsin.
