Love this store. Inventory is in constant rotation, pricing fair and you never know what you will find there (found an old spring horse for the grandson). Plus you can find the most unusual pieces there. A real treasure in downtown Hartford!

Both the business itself and the owner are fantastic. Alixe is so sweet and does an amazing job of making sure there is good rotation of the products in-store. Every time I stop by (and i do so a lot), both Alixe and her husband are so welcoming and friendly. I always manage to find something i love. As an avid antiques explorer, I always manage to see something at Furnish Traders that I haven't seen before which makes visiting so much more fun! Alixe is very knowledgeable about the items she keeps in her shop and uses comparable pricing. I have an endless list of good things to say about this place. If you are reading this review, then this is your sign to visit Furnish Traders!

If you are looking for something extremely original and unique for your home, this is the shop for you. Alexis has one of the best eyes for design that I know of in Wisconsin. Yet somehow she keeps her prices reasonable.

I visited this store for the first time this week. I purchased an MCM China cabinet /hutch in good condition for a very fair price. The employees are friendly and accommodating. Another thing I really loved is that it isn't stacked from floor to ceiling and cluttered like some other consignment shops. It was arranged nicely so you could walk freely among everything and see everything for sale easily. I will definitely be a return customer!

This Shop is a Treasure- Alixe is very talented at what she does- Always --Always-interesting items, reasonable prices, in a classy setting with a Great Personality. There is an outstanding MCM gorgeous desk there right now. Make sure to check out the Lower Level Showroom too- Tastefully done as well.
