This is a dishonest business that will rip off the consumer. The owner hung up the phone on me after I asked why he billed me $130 for a $20 accessory purchase and will not give a refund. I will not be shopping here ever again and advise others not to either.

I bought a new iPhone 11 and switched to Verizon at the Verizon store in Hartford, WI, on Nov 27, 2019. I was told I'd receive a $200 VISA card within 45 days in lieu of the buyout from the U.S. Cellular contract. When I didn't receive it within 8 weeks, I contacted the store (which you can't call directly--you have to go through the National number and tell your story over and over again), Mike told me he'd check on the card and call me back that afternoon. When I didn't hear from him in 2 days, I called back. He said it would be coming, and that I should give it another "week or so". When I didn't get it in two weeks, I called again. Mike said he'd check on it with the 3rd party company that issues the card, and call me back that afternoon. When I didn't hear back from him in 3 days, I called him again. He said the card was "pending", and there was nothing more he could do for me. He said I could call the 3rd party myself, which I said was ridiculous as Verizon should handle this directly. However, I had no faith that Mike would handle it, so I made the call. Mike gave me the number. When I called, the agent told me that if a card was "pending", they wouldn't even have visibility to it, and that I'd have to go through the "Verizon Rebate Center". I told him that Mike said he had just called and spoke to someone there, and the agent was insistent that they would not have been able to see anything on the progress of the card in "pending" status. He transferred me over to Verizon's Rebate Center. The agent there looked up my cell number and said that there was no submission for a card. She gave me the number to Verizon's Customer Service and said I'd have to call them. So once again I made another call. Donna at Customer Service was very helpful and understanding, but had to start all over again to find the rebate and submit a claim for the card. I was on the phone for 3 hours between the store, 3rd party issuing company, Rebate Center, and Customer Service. I was very upset while talking to Mike at the Hartford store, and asked to speak to his Mgr. He would only give me his name (Keith) and not his phone number. This was on Fri, Feb 21, and I said I'd give him until EOB Mon, Feb 24 to return my call. At that point, I said I'd go directly to Verizon corporate so they know what personnel at their stores are doing, and not doing. I will NEVER be back to this store. They are dishonest and do not stand behind their word. I'm not through with getting to the bottom of this.

Absolutely horrible employee's. Told my mother and I to leave because we "mentioned" going to another store, because something didn't seem right. I had my 6 year old son in there trying to help my mother get first IPhone. When the hot headed rep, said "well then you can leave" after talking directly to my mother that we should check out corporate location. I asked the rep are you serious? He said yes I am you can leave then. I asked him are you really being a blank right now? He then went to a fit of absolute rage in front of my 6 year old son screaming at the top of his lungs Get out!!! With his fists clinched might I add. The most unprofessional place I have ever been to. I hope they got what was coming to them from corporate offices as I promised I would let them know about our experience. As I'm sure this was not the first time this guy blew up customers. But I hope it was the last. If you don't mind driving an extra 15 minutes go to a corporate owned location. As they are actually taught how to be professional and how to talk to people in a non caveman mentality.

They are always nice but don't try to help me nearly as much as the West Bend store. I like both of these stores because they are NOT corporate stores--whose employees earn the majority of their wages from commission...& thus are always in a rush to get on to the next customer that's ACTUALLY gonna buy a phone😳 Whereas, the Harford & West Bendí·$ stores take as much time as needed with EACH & EVERY customer that walks thru their doors!!

SCAM artists , bait and switch, out and out dishonest. When phone replaced under insurance plan just a few months ago died, my husband went into Hartford Verizon hoping for help. Manager at Hartford store advised that device was dead; further advised that we were not eligible for another phone under insurance plan because we are only entitled to one replacement phone per year. Spiraled downward from there; redirected to an upgraded $578 phone. Turns out that the insurance covers multiple replacements, but also that the phone that died was covered under a one year warranty. When I went back the next day to return unneeded device that my husband was conned into purchasing, the same manager was very proud that he had provided "excellent customer service" to my husband. Apparently he believes being polite, but blatantly dishonest in hopes of conning an upgrade and hefty commission, is good customer service. They want to charge a $75.00 restocking fee if we exercise right to cancel the upgrade that was unnecessary - as insurance company is sending new phone for free. Bogus, bad, scam all the way around. Note to manager: good customer service involves honest representation, not smooth talking cons. Shameful that your goal was to make a sale, rather than help the customer get what was due - a replacement phone at no charge.
