This is southeastern Wisconsin's premiere location for private music instruction. Both of my kids studied here (drums and voice) and I took guitar, drums, cello, and piano lessons. This is a positively special place filled with talented and caring instructors who change lives.

My children and I thoroughly enjoy the baby grand piano purchased from Ellen. The showroom is gorgeous, and is a lovely space for a recital.

Stop hiding behind excuses for your rudeness. You are a bad role model for children.

I am also a guitar player, but unlike Tony G's 2-star slam, I have had nothing but very helpful and quality professional service and attention in every dealing with Hartland Music. I have bought instruments, for myself and children. Paid for music lessons for everyone in my family over 20 years. As for the quality of guitars, they stock for the masses, not for Eric Clapton or Mark Kopfler (BTW Tony, I'm not putting you in their class). This is a quality music provider organization, probably the best in Wisconsin. If they don't have it they will find what you are looking for and order it. It seems the only gas Tony G wased was what stink he spread throughout his review. Some people can't hold their gas. Thanks Hartland Music For Serving our area!

Disclaimer here- I am a guitarist. If you are also a guitarist, this place isn't worth the gas even if you live in Hartland. I have gone there several times and tried, tried, tried to have something peak my interest. Maybe they should focus on music and not coffee and snacks. They honestly didn't have a single guitar that I even wanted to try. I'm sure if you play piano, this place is pretty decent. They do have good instructors there. But if I am going to waste an afternoon throwing money on all things guitar, there are sooooo many better options around (Cream city, White House) Used to be much better....

Currently, my entire family studies various instruments here, and we have purchased high quality instruments from them. The level of instruction is not to be surpassed anywhere, as Hartland also has a division that is a formal music conservatory. Like many outlets of this type, there are plenty of student-level instruments. But Hartland probably has the finest selection in the Midwest of higher-end pianos, and is also becoming a major dealer of Breedlove guitars, including both domestic and imported models. Reputable and laid-back sales approach, a busy lesson studio, and plenty of open jams and open mics at the in-house cafe make this place a hub of the music community. Five all the way around.

I am very impressed with the staff at Hartland Music Center. Knowledgable, friendly and go-out-of-their-way helpful. Both my boys have taken private lessons here. One for violin and the other for cello. The music teachers are incredibly professional and are high-quality teachers. I love the back area in which the private lessons are held. They are warmly decorated and inviting; a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy your child's lesson. I also love the coffee shop located within the building. I can get a snack, light sandwich and a drink while I wait for the lessons to start. The selection of instruments and "all things musical" is wonderful!
