A Heartfelt Gratitude for Best Choice Floral's Compassion and ExcellenceI wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service we received from Best Choice Floral in Hortonville during a difficult time. My mother-in-law recently passed away, and not having experience with planning a funeral, we turned to Best Choice Floral for assistance.Upon entering the shop, we were met with genuine empathy and professionalism. We inquired about their services for funerals, and the staff assured us that they could assist. We explained that we needed flowers for the open casket and, unsure of what exactly to choose, we sought guidance from the knowledgeable staff.The young woman at Best Choice Floral not only understood our needs but also showed great sensitivity and care. She recommended a selection of flowers and wisely suggested adding some "filler" to ensure the arrangement wasn't too sparse. To our surprise, she brought out a variety of wildflowers and asked if we liked them. Little did she know, our beloved mother-in-law had a deep affection for wildflowers and often enjoyed them on the nearby biking trail.A particularly touching aspect of our experience was that Best Choice Floral did not request payment until the flowers were delivered. This gesture, although uncommon, spoke volumes about their commitment to understanding the emotional gravity of the situation.On the morning of the funeral, when we arrived at the funeral home, we were moved to find that the flowers had already been expertly arranged on the casket. The beauty of the display exceeded our expectations, and it was evident that the arrangement was crafted with great care and attention to detail. It truly captured the essence of what our dear mother-in-law would have loved.I regret not remembering the name of the kind-hearted individual who assisted us, but her patience and compassion during our time of sorrow did not go unnoticed. The impact of her guidance and the thoughtful selection of wildflowers added a personal touch that meant the world to us.In conclusion, Best Choice Floral in Hortonville surpassed our expectations with their exceptional service and heartfelt approach to helping us honor our loved one. We are immensely grateful for the beautiful flowers that brought comfort during a challenging time. Thank you for turning a difficult task into a heartfelt and memorable tribute.

My mother spent thousands of dollars to have some landscaping done earlier this year. Stephanie refuses to speak with my sister or my mother regarding the poor job they did. This is a copy of the email my sister sent. They have tried several times since to contact them regarding the issues and know one will answer their calls or emails. My next stop is the BBB.Good morning Stephanie,I spoke to a woman on the phone this morning about the weeds that are coming up through the fabric in the new landscape project you did for my mom. My husband and I have had landscaping projects done at our house and we understand that weeds will develop in the mulch. However, the weeds that are coming up are growing through the fabric. From what I understand, your team used a sod cutter to remove the layer of grass/weeds but did not use weed killer before putting down fabric. From my experience I think your team did not cut down below the grass/weed roots which is what is normally done. I was told that Charlene said she did not want to use weed killer because of the pets. I spoke to Charlene and she said that she never told anyone not to use weed killer on this project. The only time she mentioned weed killer was when a man on your team was walking around her house with her and she mentioned digging out weeds by hand and he said to use weed killer. She said she didn’t like to use it because of her pets. Nobody ever asked her about using weed killer on this project! The weed killer would be under the fabric so it would not have had any effect on her pets.As I mentioned before, she is so disappointed with how this project ended. For there to be weeds growing through the fabric less than 2 weeks after the job was completed is really unacceptable. It appears that your team did not do the necessary work to prepare the bed correctly. Charlene mentioned that you had the bed prepped in 1 day. Not sure how that was even manageable given the extent of weeds/grass in that area. I’ve attached a photo of one area of the weeds/grass coming up. My recommendation is for you to come back to Charlene’s in about 3 weeks to see just how many weeds come through the fabric. We would hope that you would then take care of spraying weed killer on the entire bed for her. I know weed killer is the last thing she wants to use on the completed bed but there is no other way to get rid of the weeds growing through the mulch. She should not be responsible for killing these weeds on her own. Also, there is definitely not enough mulch on the bed. Some areas have less than 1” of mulch.Let me know when is a good day and time for Charlene and me to call you to discuss. She doesn’t want to talk to you without me because she is very overwhelmed and upset with this entire project.

What a scam! Ordered flowers for mothers day and was taken for my money. My 5 year old daughter could of picked weeds that would have looked better than the crap my mother received. Definitely not worth the $100 spent.

Back in June or July, I spoke with Stephanie to get a small part of my lawn landscaped. (My concrete patio had been removed due to construction, and the hole left behind was causing flooding issues in the rain.) Stephanie told me it would be a few weeks out, and that she'd send me a contract. I didn't receive the contract until August, at which point I was told it would be 2-3 weeks before they could get to me. They did not. After several phone calls (they never called me back) and multiple emails (no response) I finally got a reply in October that they were busy, and that it would be another 1-3 weeks before they got to me. They did not. In November, after more phone calls and emails, I managed to get a hold of Stephanie who told me that she's get back to be one whether or not the job could be completed, as the temperatures had dropped so much. She did not. In December, after yet more phone calls, I emailed them asking them to cancel the job and return the check I had sent them for the downpayment back in the summer. I also called and left a message saying the same thing. To the surprise of no one, there has been no response. So not only did they never do the work and couldn't be bothered to communicate with me about it, they won't even give my check back. I'll probably have to contact a solicitor to have it returned. Meanwhile, I can look forward to another lake forming in my backyard this spring. Save yourself the headache and the hassle. Contact literally anyone else to do your landscaping projects.

This place is great. Lots of landscaping plants of all different sizes and shapes. Inside they have lots of seasonal decorations too. And fresh cut flowers for every occasion.

Wow we stopped in ready to buy a pick load of mulch but the girl was too busy chit chatting about non business gossip with some vendor. She turned around and said, " I will be right with you" and we waited around and she continued her conversation and we left. What a waste of gas and time.

I ordered a bouquet of beautiful roses with a beautiful vase from an on line 3rd party and paid extra for same day delivery. It was not delivered same day and flowers and vase were nothing like what as represented. Vase was from dollar store and roses came from the local gas station ( so it looked). Not. happy. They did send a new bouquet that was almost identical to the first! Nice of them, but it was not about the money, but the total dissapointment - twice! Never again.!

Ordered flowers for Valentine's Day to be delivered to my daughters elementary school. Didn't come until 7:10pm. The arrangement was trash. Looked nothing like the photo we ordered online was supposed to have 6 roses the arrangement had 3. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THIS PLACE. Also please dont leave a comment saying you want to make it right because clearly this is something that is a norm for this this florist based on all the reviews.

Had I known who the third party floral company I ordered the flowers through was going to use, I would have rather just tossed 100 bucks out the car window. Flowers never arrived on the delivery date and still nothing on the second day. The woman that I contacted on the phone to try and sort things out was rude and very unhelpful. Don’t waste your money here. Joke of a business.

My mother ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to my home the same day. Well over 24 hours later, I received the flowers & immediately sent her a picture thanking her. She said she was beyond disappointed that we weren't sent a bouquet anything like the one she paid for, which was a significant amount seeing as though it was for a special occasion. When she submitted a complaint to For You Flowers, the response was generic, with an apology from them & an extended apology from Best Choice Floral, a 20% discount issued, & assumption that all was forgiven. It's as if this happens often or there's not much genuine care for the customer. While I'm grateful for the thought, my mother is thoroughly embarrassed :(
